02. St. Stephens College, New Delhi
Probably it is one of the oldest established colleges in Delhi. Established in 1881, the college was under the University of Calcutta but later it was affiliated to the University of Delhi after its establishment in 1992. Today the college offers only three UG courses in Physics, Mathematics, and chemistry. Also, this college is rank-holder and therefore this is another best college for BSc physic honor.
St. Stephen’s is a religious minority college. St. Stephen’s has 50 percent seats for Christians and therefore has a separate admission process from Delhi University. Unlike other Delhi University colleges and institutions, which just accept students on the basis of their Class XII percentage, St. Stephen college also takes a written test and interview before accepting students. The weightage for the three categories is 85 percent for class XII marks, 10 percent for an interview, and 5 percent for the written examination.

It is an autonomous college attached to the University of Mumbai. 05. Hansraj College, New Delhi
Hansraj College is a major component of the Delhi University College and an important institution of the DAV Management Committee, which has the status of being the largest non-governmental educational organization in the country. After the partition of the country, the DAV Management Committee decided to establish its institutions in India, and DAV College Ambala (Delhi) was first established.
On 26 July 1948, Hans Raj College was established in memory of “Mahatma Hansraj” (1882-1938) as the founder of DAV College Lahore and a pioneer in the field of education, which became grand and memorable. 06. Hindu College, New Delhi
One of the glorious institute of Delhi University. Late Shri Krishna Dasji Gurwale founded the Hindu College in the well-known Kinari Bazar (Chandni Chowk). Earlier it has a facility to teach only 1500 students, but today, 4,500 students can study and learn in this college. This college was established as an orphanage with 37 orphans by the “Great Bengal” Femin of Ramakrishna Mission Boys’ Home in 1943-1944 in Rahra.
