BMW M5 Competition Launched in India, Price Rs. 1.55 Crore

On Thursday, BMW has launched the BMW M5 Competition car in India. The car has been launched in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). The ex-showroom price of the BMW M5 Competition in India is Rs 1.55 crore.

BMW M5 Competition features

BMW M5 Competition is equipped with 8 speed M Steptronic transmission that helps to accelerate from 0 to 100 Kmph in 3.3 seconds. The standard M5 takes 3.9 seconds to reach 100 Kmph. Like the M5, this sedan also gets the M xDrive all-wheel drive system. It has DSC and xDrive modes that give the driver to choose between 4WD, 4WD Sport, and 2WD modes.

The BMW M5 Competition is somewhat more expensive than its standard BMW M5 variant, available in India. It is estimated that the BMW M5 Competition is Rs. 10 lakhs costlier than its standard variant.

The BMW M5 Competition’s cockpit features a 12.3-inch completely digital instrument display and a 12.3-inch center display. BMW Live Cockpit Professional comes standard, as does BMW Operating System 7.0, which incorporates 3D navigation.

Radiator grille, wing mirrors, rear apron, rear spoiler have been given in this version. The roof of this car is lightweight and high tensile carbon fiber plastic has been used.
