After completion of class 10th, students have to choose any one stream of their interest out of three- Arts, commerce and science.  It makes them a bit anxious and confused as their whole career depends on it and after choosing once it’s not easy to start all over again so you should select it prudently as per your interest. 

Arts is an academic field which deals with the study of the ‘Human Condition’, utilizing methods and rules that are usually analytical, critical or contemplative.

The wide range of subjects that come under this stream are history, languages, literature, law, philosophy, religion, performing arts, anthropology, communication, sociology, psychology and many more

1). BA

The Bachelor of Arts or BA is a graduation study program .It’s a three years course classified  into pass and honors courses. 2). Management

If you like to plan, organize, direct and control different specific organizations you can do the management course for that. There are different types of management courses available in various particular fields:-

  • BBA

It’s a 3 year course. There are many private as well as government organisations which offer this course.After BBA, you can  also go for a PG (Post Graduate) course MBA. There are some colleges which provide  BBA courses that focus on a particular field. Such as  BBA in Airport Management and BBA in Event Management.  Some such well known BBA honors programs are listed below-

But they are different in many other aspects. BMS is more focused on conventional management studies such as analytics. 

Where BBA is more focused on core subjects related to Business studies. 

  • Hotel Management

The industry has several opportunities for you , you can also  become Hotel Manager, Head of Housekeeping, Event Manager, etc. It’s moreover on the increase in cruises, aviation industry, resorts, and even casinos.

3). Law

If you’re interested in  law courses then you can also choose BA in LLB. It’s usually a dual degree integrated program and this may compile you in becoming a lawyer. Like in all other courses, you can start as an intern then you’ll be apt  to rise up in  your way together with your dedication and perseverance.

4). Creative careers- Media studies, Advertising, Film making, Animation

An animation and filmmaking course explore into an intense study of 2-D and 3-D animation, sound editing, pre production and post production processes, visual effects and filmmaking. Duration of these courses can vary from six months to about three years. After the completion of a certification degree, diploma or degree course, students can get work as animators, digital designers, effects (FX) artists, lighting artists and rigging artists. You can also get opportunities to work in animation film production studios, for television channels, in television production houses, in advertising agencies and gaming companies. There are also opportunities to work in print media, communication, comic art, 3-D motion painting, multimedia companies.

Diploma in animation engineering, Diploma in animation film making, BSc in animation and filmmaking, BA in animation and multimedia.

5). Designing

Designing is one of the famous courses in India. There are various design courses spanning their range from fashion designing to interior designing.

The word applies to the occupation , methods of gathering information, and the organizing literary styles. This correspondent media include: print, television, radio, Internet, and, in the past, newsreels.

There are distinct schools of journalism where you can pursue a B.A or M.A in Communication or Journalism, Diplomas in Journalism & Mass Communication and many other certificate courses.

7). Teaching:-

There are many good opportunities for teachers and much need for them . You can go into the field of teaching after your graduation . You can do a private job or can go for further teacher training courses for more good opportunities like BEd , B.P.Ed etc. So if you are interested in teaching you can surely go for that.
