Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli and actress Anushka Sharma blessed with a baby girl on Monday evening. Anushka Sharma gave birth to their first baby in Mumbai.

Virat Kohli is very excited and shares the news on Twitter, “ we are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. In short span of the time after his tweet, fans congratulated the couple.

Presently, Virat Kohli is on paternity leave. He came back from Australia for the birth of his first child. After playing ODIs and the T20 series, he also participated in the first Test in Adelaide. But after that, he left the last three Tests and came back to India.

Kohli will now return to the team for the Test series against England next month. The England cricket team is visiting India for a series of 4 Tests, 5 T20s, and 3 ODIs.
