Pinkfong’s “Baby Shark,” a fun and the catchy song has reached a major milestone on youtube. It became the first video in YouTube history to reach 10 billion views on January 13th. With this, the distance between “Baby Shark” and the second most-watched video on YouTube, Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito,” has grown even wider (7.7 billion views).

“Baby Shark,” produced by Pinkfong, a South Korean educational entertainment company, features the voice of Korean-American singer Hope Segoine. In 2016, the song was released. The song had been seen 7.04 billion times as of November 2021, making it the most viewed video on YouTube at the time.
