The announcement for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Combined Defence Services (CDS) examinations 2024 has been issued by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Individuals who are interested and eligible can apply for the NDA and Naval Academy Examination (I) and the CDS examination (I), 2024, via official website at upsc.gov.in. The deadline for online applications is January 9, 2024. From January 10 to January 16, application revisions will be permitted. A total of 457 positions will be filled through the CDS 1 Exam 2024 and Total of 400 positions will be filled through NDA.

The exams are scheduled to take place on April 21, 2024, at various locations across the country.

Registered candidates will get their e-admit cards seven days before the commencement of the examination. No Admit Card will be sent by post.

UPSC NDA, CDS 2024 Exam – Steps to Apply

• Visit the official website, upsconline.nic.in
• Register at the One Time Registration (OTR) platform.
• Proceed to fill up the application form.

Eligibility criteria for UPSC CDS 1 Notification 2024

• For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii)    For Indian Naval Academy— Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution

• For Air Force Academy—Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

FEE

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank.
