Tirupati: The wealthiest temple in India

In Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, India, the famous Sri Venkateswara Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, also known as Tirupati Balaji is situated. It is among the most important pilgrimage centers of India.
Tirupati temple receives a huge number of pilgrimages every year. The main attraction of the place is 8-feet tall idol of Lord Venkateshwara. Temple is also known as Temple of seven Hills as it is situated on the seventh peak of Tirumala hills. Tirupati temple is the wealthiest temple of India because it receives a heavy donation every day from the devotees.
The other temples are Sri Kalahasti temple, Sri Govindarajaswami Temple, the Kondandarama Temple, the Parashurameshwara Temple, and the ISKCON temple that devotees can visit too.
Not only mythological importance is related to Tirupati, but it is also famous for having one geological wonder called The Silathoranam. It is a natural arch formed out of rocks and it is the only three of its kind in the entire world.
The benefit that devotees get by a pilgrimage to this holy town is also mentioned in the Vedas and Puranas. It is believed that if one wants to attain Mukti in Kaliyug, it can only be attained by worshipping Lord Venkateswara.
