Taapsee Pannu shared the teaser of her upcoming sports drama, Shabaash Mithu.  The movie Shabaash Mithu is based on Gentleman’s game, cricket and the actor plays Indian cricketer Mithali Raj in the film.

While sharing the Shabaash Mithu teaser, she wrote, “In this Gentlemen’s sport, she did not bother to rewrite history ….. instead she created HER STORY!

The 56 secs Shabaash Mithu teaser opens with a houseful stadium, the audience is cheering for Mithali to arrive in the stadium. She arrived in a blue jersey, with the name Mithali written on it. Meanwhile, the screen shows the cricket record on Mithali’s name, like, she has scored 7 consecutive 50s in ODI, act as a captain in 4 world cup, the youngest female cricketer to score a test 200, and at last, she has been playing for 23 years the gentleman’s game.

Shabaash Mithu film is directed by Rahul Dholakia and written by Priya Aven records the cricketer’s highs and lows, setbacks, and pivotal occasions.
