What is IELTS?

IELTS- stand for International English language testing System. It is an English language proficiency test for non-native English language speakers to study higher education or get a job in an English-speaking Country. It is jointly managed by British Council and IDP.

The pattern of the exam is such that it tests the English proficiency in Listening, Reading, Writing and speaking skill.

The Reading, writing, and listening test are paper-based but speaking includes the face to face interaction with the IELTS certified examiner. Speaking is that part where the examiner will give you score on the basis of your pronunciation, fluency, grammar, and vocabulary.

There are some tips that if you follow during a speaking test of IELTS will help you feel comfortable and relaxed.

Examiner will score you on the basis of your confidence level. No matter what you deliver to him/her, but if you are not confident, you will lose the battle. Develop your answers in the given frame time. At that time, the command over the language matters the most.

Be spontaneous on what has been asked to you. Deliver your content fluently and with ease.

Speak as much as you can. Always try to speak more than the examiner because he/she is going to test you for your speaking only.

Never go for prepared answers. Try to develop the answers at that time. Examiner will get to know your prepared answers.

We all know that practice makes a man perfect. Before appearing for the test, practice as much as you can. Speak in English with your friends, family and try to do public speaking to remove any kind of hesitation and fear.

You can also take the help of video tutorials for speaking practice and can join any institute that guides you in getting the high score in the IELTS exam.
