The beautiful city of Shillong is one of the significant vacation goals of the northeast. Elephant falls are the most famous falls in Shillong and best place to rejoice for nature lovers.

Shillong also has the golf course for golf lovers and it is the oldest one. There is a number of museums like Wankhar Entomological Museum, Air Force Museum, Forest Museum, Rhino Heritage Museum, Zoological Museum, Anthropological Museum, Botanical Museum, Arunachal Museum.

The climatic conditions of Shillong are quite comfortable throughout the year but the best time to visit the place is after the monsoon. As in monsoon, the place receives heavy rainfall and then it will not be suitable to explore the place.
