On Thursday, Jio Reliance launched Jio Tag in India. The Jio Tag is a smart Bluetooth tracking device. When we attach our phone with a jio tag, then we can easily get lost items and get alerted on our phone when we left them behind. 

Jio Tag is powered with a replaceable CR2032 battery offering a good battery life. It uses bluetooth connectivity to track the things.  Users can place Jio Tag anywhere in their handbag, wallet so that it can tracked the things. The device only weighs 9.5 grams, measures 38.2mm x 38.2mm x 7.2mm in size. It comes with an extra battery and lanyard cable in the box. 

The Jio Tag comes in just white variant color. The bluetooth tracker in Jio Tag comes with a range of 20 meters indoor and 50 meters outdoor. 

To use the tracker, users will need to download the latest version of Jio Things from Google Play store (Android users) and from Apple store for iOS users. 

JioTag comes with a new Community Find feature that allows users to see the last tracked location of the item even if it is disconnected. With this feature, users will also be able to track the location of JioTag in case they misplace it. To use this feature, users will need to report on the Jio things app that they have lost the device. The Jio Community Find feature will look for the said device and provide you with a location.

The Jio tag is listed on the Jio.com website at Rs 2,199 but the tracker is currently available at price Rs 749. It is available for purchase on Jio.com and Jio.mart. The company is offering cash on delivery options at selected pin codes only.
