On Friday 22 December 2023, OPPO launched the OPPO A59 smartphone in India. The OPPO A59 5G’s price is Rs 14,999 for its 4GB + 64GB model. The handset comes in Silk Gold and Starry Black color options. The new OPPO phone will go on sale from December 25th via Flipkart, Amazon, and the OPPO website.

Oppo A59 5G specifications

• Display: 6.56-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 1612×720 pixels resolution, a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter, 89.8 percent screen-to-body ratio 20.15:9 aspect ratio, and a 90Hz touch sampling rate.
• Processor: The Oppo A59 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC with ARM Mali G57 MC2 GPU for graphics.
• RAM and Storage: The phone packs 6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB eMMC 5.1 storage that can be further increased via a microSD card.
• Battery: A 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support powers the Oppo A59 5G smartphone.
• OS: The phone runs on Android13-based ColorOS 13.1 skin out of the box.
• Camera: A 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary sensor. An 8MP camera on the front for selfies.
