Netflix announced 17 series and film titles that will directly stream on Netflix. This also includes ‘Bombay Begums’ directed by Alankrita Shrivastava. Bombay Begums will mark the comeback of Pooja Bhatt as an actress.

Bombay Begum revolves around five women of different generations who are struggling with their ethics, desires, and vulnerabilities. The series is about how these brave women find their identity despite all odds and end up being friends.

The series features Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, Aadhya  Anand, and Plabita Borthakur.AlankritaShrivastav has earlier directed Lipstick Under My Burkha.
