NEET (UG) 2025 Registration Begins: Exam on May 4

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the online application process for NEET UG 2025 from February 7, in order to provide admission into the undergraduate medical courses in all the medical institutions of India.
As per Section 14 of the National Medical Commission Act, 2019, NEET (UG) must be conducted as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions. The NEET (UG)-2025 scores and merit list will also be applicable for BDS and BVSc & AH courses as followed previously in accordance with the rules under the respective regulatory bodies.
Aspirants to MNS intending to seek admission to B.Sc. Nursing Courses conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2025 are liable to qualify in NEET (UG).
Important Dates for NEET (UG) 2025
All medical aspirants can fill in the form from the official website neet.nta.nic.in by March 7, 2025. The NEET UG 2025 exam will be held on May 4, 2025, in the pen-and-paper mode.
NEET (UG) 2025 Exam Pattern
The NEET UG 2025 question paper will have 180 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The test will be completed in 3 hours (180 minutes).

PwBD candidates who have a physical limitation in writing will be given an additional one hour.
Marking Scheme for NEET (UG) 2025
- +4 marks for each correct answer.
- -1 mark for each incorrect answer.
- No marks deducted for unanswered questions.
- If there are several correct answers to a question, full marks will be given to all the candidates who opt for any of the correct options.
- If the question is wrong or omitted, all candidates will be awarded full marks.
Language of NEET (UG) 2025 Examination
NEET UG 2025 will be conducted in 13 languages: English, Hindi, and the regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Candidates who opt for English will get only an English test booklet, whereas those opting for Hindi or any of the regional languages will get a bilingual booklet.

In 2018, the number of attempts is removed from eligibility criteria for the NEET UG. It means that for the NEET 2025 exam, no limit has been set for its attempts. Student can appear many times if it meets the NEET eligibility.

- Enter your basic details like, name, mobile number, and email address etc., and click on submit button.
- Enter the received OTP & get registered.
- After registering, log in using your application number and password.
- Fill up the form available and attach all documents
- Save, submit, and pay the fees charges.
- Download the filled form for future use.
