National Film Awards 2019: Vicky Kaushal, Ayushman Khurana, Aditya Dhar, Kirti Suresh winners announced

National Film Awards have been announced. This time in Bollywood films, Andhadhun, Padmavat, Uri, and Padman have won the awards. Ayushmann Khurrana and Vicky Kaushal have been selected for Best Actor (Shared) for the film Andhadhun and for Uri(a surgical strike) respectively. Director Aditya Dhar of URI won the best director award.  Andhadhun has been selected for the Best Hindi Film Award. Best Actress award won by Kirti Suresh.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavat Ghoomar song got the best choreographer award. At the same time, Uttarakhand has received the Friendly State Award. Vicky Kaushal on receiving the award tweeted that words might fall short to describe the happiness I’m feeling right now.

 This time the National Film Awards have been announced late due to the Lok Sabha elections. The awards were first announced in March-April and the Film Awards distribution ceremony was held on May 3, but this time it has been a part of the tradition.
