Maruti Suzuki has launched its 5- door new SUV car named Jimny.  On Maruti Suzuki Official twitter account, the launch was captioned as  NEXA #Jimny Legacy Roars# NeverTurnBack. Brezza, Fronx and Grand Vitara are the other SUVs of Maruti which are at top position in the market.

Maruti Suzuki has revealed the price of the Jimny SUV on Wednesday, June 7. The car is coming in six different variants. The ex- showroom price of the base model is starting from Rs. 12.74 lakh. The  ex- showroom price of the top model of Jimny is Rs. 15.05 lakh. The company is expecting that this car will play a major role in the sports utility vehicle segment. 

Prices of different variants of Jimny are as follows:-

Zeta MT – Rs 12.74 lakh

Zeta AT – Rs 13.94 lakh

Alpha MT – 13.69 lakh

Alpha AT – 14.89 lakh

Alpha MT(dual tone) – 13.85 lakh

Alpha AT ( Dual Tone) –  is 15.05 lakh

Other Features:-

• Seating capacity – 4

• K15B petrol engine

• Boot space 332L with seat rear seats folded

• Fuel tank capacity of 40 litres

The door handles of Jimny are of the same colour as Body colour. It has alloy wheels with Trapezoidal Wheel Arch Extensions. The car has Lumber Black Scratch- resistant Bumpers and a Clamshell Bonnet. Keeping the safety feature in mind, the company has installed dual airbags in front along with side & curtain airbags.

Jimny was showcased in the auto expo which was held in January 2023. Generally all the SUVs come with 3 doors, but this is the first SUV to come with 5 doors.
