The trailer for Shahid Kapoor’s forthcoming film Jersey has been released. The cricket-themed film, which will be released in December, is a remake of a Telugu film of the same name.

In Jersey, Shahid Kapoor portrays a former cricket player who wants to return to the game in order to encourage his son. Actress Mrunal Thakur plays his wife in the film. The Hindi version was directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, who also directed the original.
Jersey the film team shared the Trailer today with the caption, “Unleash the power of dreams for the ones you love! “

In Jersey trailer, a jobless former cricketer tries to fulfil his son’s desire of purchasing a jersey. He attempts to persuade his wife to give money, but she refuses. He then goes door to door, attempting to make arrangements for money but ultimately attempting to steal money from his wife’s wallet.

In the midst of it all, he is offered the position of assistant coach for a cricket team, but he declines. The trailer then shows glimpses of his cricket career and the events that led to his retirement. The film Jersey is all set for release on December 31, 2021.
