The city that is the heart of the Great Indian Thar desert, Jaisalmer, better known as Golden city of Rajasthan for its sandcastles, Havelis, forts, camel ride, beautiful Jain temples, and adventure activities.

All seven temples are built using the same golden-yellow Jaisalmer stone and exquisite carvings on the walls.

Gadisarlake, an artificial reservoir for the water supply to the town until 1965 is now a tourist place where boating and relaxing can be done.  Located close to the fort of Jaisalmer, it relieves from the dry climate.
