On Tuesday, Madhur Bhandarkar’s next awaited film India Lockdown teaser has been released. The teaser of the movie shows the situation in India and the plight of the people during the COVID-19 pandemic. This memory is going to be a painful journey.

The India Lockdown teaser begins with the announcement of the historic first lockdown in India due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It features footage from different parts of the country and shows the impact of the lockdown on people’s lives. Shweta Basu Prasad essays the role of a sex worker questions the seriousness of Covid-19 before the lockdown is announced. Prateik Babbar plays the role of a migrant worker who is forced to return to his hometown with his family due to the pandemic. And, Aahana Kumra playing the role of a pilot is shown trapped in the house due to the pandemic.

The movie stars Prateik Babbar, Aahana Kumra, and Shweta Basu Prasad. It is supported by Jayantilal Gada of Penn Studios, Madhur Bhandarkar, and Pranav Jain’s PJ Motion Pictures.

Inspired by true events, ‘India Lockdown’ depicting the four parallel stories and the repercussions of the Covid-19 pandemic on the people of India will stream on Zee 5 on 2 December.
