Chitthi Ayee Hai and Aur Ahista Kijiye Baatein famed Ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas has passed away today on Feb 26. He was ill for a long time. His daughter Nayaab Udh has confirmed the death in a social media post.

Pankaj Udhas was born on May 17, 1951, in Gujarat. He began his musical journey at a young age and rose to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s. He was honored with the Padma Shri award in 2006. He did playback singing for many Hindi films, Albums, and live concerts.
