Today the teaser of Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming web series Farzi has been released by Amazon Prime Video. This is the first OTT debut series of shahid. At the beginning of the teaser, Shahid is seen painting on canvas, and while painting he says that his life is entering a new phase with this, he also asks the question of whether people will accept him. After this, Shahid looks into the camera and says but an artist is an artist and with a winking eye, the video ends. As he walks away, the camera focuses on the canvas on which “Farzi” is written.
The Farzi series is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK ( The Family Man). The series was written by Sita R Menon, Suman Kumar, and Hussain Dalal. It also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Raashi Khanna, Kay Kay Menon, Regina Cassandra, Zakir Hussain, Bhuvan Arora, Amol Palekar, and Kubbra Sait. Shahid shared his Farzi web series teaser on Instagram and Raj and DK Commenting, “Wow!! Shahid!!
In April 2022 Farzi’s first look was revealed with the description, “A con artist who gets caught up in the high stakes of a con and a sharp-tongued task force officer on a mission to rid the country of its menacing, edgy” A kind of thriller.
