DIGITAL MARKETING SEMINAR FEST 2022 PHASE-2: Different Digital Marketing strategies for Tour & Travel company discussed in a seminar held at HiDM

In the ongoing phase 2 of the digital marketing seminar fest 2022, HiDM conducted the fourth seminar on how to plan a digital marketing strategy for a travel company.
The seminar on how to plan a digital marketing strategy for a travel company was hosted by HiDM’s student Hamesh under the guidance of Er. Manmohan Singla (Director HiDM). Highlights of the seminar were the basics of digital marketing, the benefits of digital marketing, tour and Travel Company, how a travel agency help, services by the travel company, famous travel companies, mobile marketing, e-mail marketing, social media, and a case study.
During the presentation, Presenter firstly explained the digital marketing benefits and then specifically talked about the tour and travel industry. Travel Industry is related to travel which provides different packages for each destination like a school tour, wedding planning, getting together, holding a meeting in foreign, visas, flight booking, etc. After that, the host gave details about the tour and travel company websites. How to build any tour and travel website, ways to promote a travel company through Digital Marketing, services provided by the travel company, etc. The host also covered different SEO strategies that help a travel company.
The role of digital marketing in tour and travel Company was discussed in detail. The host described all the famous travel Companies such as MakeMyTrip(MMT), TravelGuru, yatra online Pvt Ltd., Expedia, and Goibibo and how they use digital media for promotion. He also covered a case study of Mr Deep Kalra, who is the founder of the famous Indian online travel company, Make my trip.
At last, the host cleared all the doubts of the audience.
