Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal’s much talked about ‘The Battle of Bhima Koregaon’  film first look poster has been unveiled. Arjun Rampal himself has shared the poster of the film on his social media account. This historical and much talked about the film will hit the screens in the coming year 2021. The film also stars actress Sunny Leone and Abhimanyu Singh along with Arjun Rampal.  

The poster shared by Arjun Rampal on social media shows his unique look. The poster of the film shows Arjun as a Mahar warrior and Digangana Suryavanshi with a long beard, long hair, and a weapon in his hand. While unveiling the poster, Arjun captioned “Proud to be part of a historical event that blew my mind and is sure to blow yours”.

The Battle of Bhima Koregon History

There was a war between the second Bajirao Peshwa and the British troops on January 1, 1818, at Koregaon Bhima. That’s why this battle is known as the Battle of Bhima Koregaon.  The war was won by the British. According to experts, an army of 28,000 Marathas under the leadership of the second Bajirao Peshwa was ready to attack Pune. British troops consisted of 800 soldiers stopped them and fought for 12 hours and won the battle. After this, the Peshwa changed his mind and returned, as mentioned in the book on the history of the time.
