Apple updated both Air and Pro models of its iPad on Tuesday during the Let Loose event.

Additionally, Apple revealed the M4, which is said to be the quickest microprocessor the company has ever produced. 

The new iPad Pro, called “the thinnest Apple product ever,” is powered by a processor. Apple made a lot of announcements during the event, including iPad’s both software and hardware. Significant upgrades to the iPad Air and iPad Pro, now both models come with larger screens, as the company revealed. 

Apple launched the new Pencil Pro with enhanced functionalities, aiming to elevate the overall pencil experience. A redesigned Magic Keyboard offers a thinner and lighter build alongside an array of new features.

Features  and Specifications 

In particular, the iPad Pro underwent a significant redesign, becoming Apple’s most capable and high-end tablet to date, with its substantially improved functioning.

The new iPad Pro is lighter and thinner, with the 11-inch variant measuring just 5.1mm in thickness, marking it as Apple’s slimmest product to date. Similarly, the 13-inch variant, only slightly larger, has a thickness of only 5.3mm.

The space black and silver finish of the new iPad Pro is both exquisite and made from entirely recycled aluminum shells. It has an amazing 1000 nits of full-screen brightness for both SDR and HDR content, and a peak brightness of 1600 nits for HDR content thanks to its Ultra Retina XDR display.

With its cutting-edge M4 chipset, which is based on second-generation 3-nanometer technology, the new iPad Pro offers performance and efficiency that are unmatched. It provides up to 1.5 times greater CPU performance than its predecessor, with up to four performance cores and six efficiency cores, in addition to sophisticated machine learning accelerators. 

Images are rendered with astounding accuracy and realism with hardware-accelerated mesh shading, ray tracing, dynamic caching, and a 10-core GPU.

Apple iPad Pro Pricing and Availability 

The latest iPad Pro models, measuring 11 and 13 inches, are available in silver and space black finishes, with storage capacities varying from 256GB to 2TB. 

The Wi-Fi + Cellular model costs Rs 1,19,900, while the 11-inch only Wi-Fi model costs Rs 99,900. 

The Wi-Fi version of the 13-inch device costs Rs 1,29,900, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular version costs Rs 1,49,900.

The iPad Pro is priced marginally less for students, starting at Rs 89,900 for the 11-inch device and Rs 1,19,900 for the 13-inch model.

The new Apple Pencil Pro, compatible with the iPad Pro, is priced at Rs 11,900. For students, it is priced at Rs 10,900. Additionally, the Apple Pencil is compatible with USB-C and available for Rs 7,900, with student pricing of Rs 6,900.
