RADHA NAGAR BEACH

Radhanagar Beach is one of the most romantic beaches in Andaman Island. Newly married couples often come here for a honeymoon. People fond of nature and adventures can enjoy the ancient landscape here. Tourists can see turtles, big fish, and dolphins on the island.

Havelock Island is named after the English officer Henry Havelock. It is a major tourist destination of Andaman, and every year thousands of tourists come to see it. In 2004, Time magazine declared it the best coast in Asia. The clean beaches and rows of mangrove trees are the specialties here. With unexplored coral reefs, brilliant bio-diversity, white sandy beaches, and tropical forest and vegetation, it is one of the hot tourist spots in the Andamans. It has been renamed as Swaraj Dweep by PM Narendra Modi on December 30, 2018

Neil Island (now Shaheed Dweep)  is a small island 36 kilometers northeast of Port Blair, it is located in the Richie Islands region. The coral reefs and ruins of the time of the British rule are very famous here.

The next tourist destination in Andamans includes the famous Kala Pani cellular jail, a former British prison in Andaman, where our freedom fighters and brave soldiers were punished. The prison was established in 1897. It has 694 cells. The names of freedom fighters are written on the walls of the jail even today and those weapons can also be seen in the museum from which the freedom fighters were persecuted.

For water sports lovers, The Rajiv Gandhi water sports complex is a perfect place. Traveler can enjoy water sports like banana rides, parasailing, jet-skiing, robot paddling, speed boat rides, etc.

For nature lovers, Diglipur in Andaman is a great place for tourists. This place is the highest peak of Andaman, where crocodile sanctuaries and caves can be found.

Chidiya Tapu is a place for birds. Here you will get the chance to spend some good time with the birds amidst the splendor of nature. The sunset here is mesmerizing. Chidiya Tapu is a total of 25 km from Port Blair, which is easily accessible by road.

Aberdeen Bazaar the most famous market of the Andaman Islands where tourists can shop souvenirs, seashell products, pearl jewelry and day to day life things. It is the most famous market in Andaman.

The best time of year to visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands is between October and May. It is also the time of the “annual tourism festival”. After the monsoon, it is the perfect time for snorkelers and swimmers to visit Andaman and Nicobar.

How to reach Andaman and Nicobar Island

Andaman and Nicobar Island can only be reached through Airways and Waterways. There is no road connectivity. Andaman and Nicobar Island have flights from all the major cities of India like Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Banglore, Etc. and ships run from Chennai and Vizag ports to Andaman and Nicobar Island.
