One plus Nord has recently launched on 21 July,2020.  One plus Nord manages to deliver a similar experience as the One plus 8 at more affordable price. It offers brilliant features. One Plus Nord summary:-

OnePlus Nord offers an AMOLED display, a big battery, and Warp Charge fast Charging. It has glass on the back, but it’s plastic in spite of the metal frame.   

It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor.  It doesn’t offer an 800-series chip.  It supports 5G, which is brilliant. It performs very well in terms of app and gaming.  Its daylight Camera captures good quality pictures and it supports HDR10+.  

It’s only major limitation is it’s low light image quality , it doesn’t work well. It’s battery life is excellent. It’s one unique and brilliant ability is to shoot selfie videos at 4K 60fps which can’t be done by One plus 8 and 8 pro.

 One plus Nord Design

 one plus has changed Nord’s design to distinguish it from one plus 8 ( at Rs. 41,999) and 8 pro ( at Rs.54,999). But overall there are not many changes. Its design has some similarities with phones from oppo and Vivo. It does not have a headphone jack. Its buttons and ports have the same layout. 

It has a polycarbonate body and Gorilla Glass 5 on the front as well as back. Its sides of the display aren’t curved like one plus 8’s. In spite of one, it has cut out for two selfie cameras.  It comes with a 6.44 inches screen display with a Full-HD+ resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It supports HDR10+.

One plus Nord Specifications:-

One plus Nord comes with a 6.44″ display with a Full-HD+ resolution of 1080×2400. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC which has an integrated Qualcomm X52 5G modem and is built on the 7nm process. It offers brilliant processing capabilities and up to 30 % faster graphics than the Snapdragon 730G. It’s a 5G smartphone. 

The Indian one plus Nord model varies from the other country models. The Indian version of the OnePlus Nord only supports the N78 5G band Whereas the European version supports more bands.  

 One plus Nord is available in three variants  with 6GB RAM and 64GB ROM at Rs. 24,999;  8GB RAM and 128GB ROM at Rs. 27,999, and 12GB RAM with 256GB ROM at  Rs. 29,999.

It measures 8.2mm  thickness and 184g weight. Its other specific features include  NFC, Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth 5.1, and also satellite navigation support including NavIC. It offers one speaker at the bottom, in-display finger sensor, and face unlock feature.  It has a 4,115mAh battery, with Warp Charge 30T fast charging. OnePlus also offers two years of software updates and three years of security updates for the Nord.

OnePlus Nord’s software has some changes compared to other OnePlus phones. There are some software changes in the Nord. It uses  Google’s stock dialler and messages apps instead of OxygenOS own.  

One plus Nord Performance:-

It offers a very effortless smooth shifting from one tab to another.  The  Snapdragon 765G  is definitely a solid performer. 

Nord scored 3,29,345 points in AnTuTu, Geekbench returned 611 and 1,919 points in the single-core and multi-core tests , and 3DMark Slingshot  4,608 points. It offers smooth gameplay without any heating up in the device.

 The fingerprint sensor works great and as well as the face lock, it’s recognition speed is fast and effortless. Videos seem brilliant on Nord and its speaker serves great sound quality. It can survive over 22 hours before the plugin. And it’s charging speed is also really fast. 

One plus Nord Cameras

One plus Nord has a total of 6 cameras- four rear Cameras and two front cameras. The main rear camera is of 8-MP wide-angle Camera, a 2-MP macro camera, a 2-MP macro camera, and a 5- MP depth sensor. 

 It has two selfie-cameras with a primary 32 MP Sony IMX616 camera and a secondary 8-MP wide-angle camera. The camera apps are almost similar to one- plus 8 series phones. All the shooting modes are present at the bottom along with flash, resolution, macro mode, timer, and filters at the top. It has a quick autofocus system.

It can shoot 4K 30fps with it’s main and wide-angle Cameras.  It can shoot well at 4K in low light.

The OnePlus Nord can shoot 4K 60fps video from the selfie camera, whereas  8 and 8 Pro smartphones can only at 1080p.
