The Premiere date of Vidya Balan’s upcoming film, Shakuntala Devi, is announced. The movie is going to be premiere on 31 July. On Thursday Vidya Balan announced the release date of her upcoming biographical movie in a one-minute video.

The film is based on the life of mathematician Shakuntala Devi also nicknamed as (Human-Computer), a genius who was discovered at the age of five, when she solved a math problem meant for 18-year-old students. Vidya Balan is playing in the lead role of Shakuntla Devi. The star cast of the film includes- Vidya Balan, Jishu Sengupta, Amit Sadh, Spandan Chaturvedi, and Sanya Malhotra.
Shakuntala Devi is written and directed by Anu Menon, also directed 2015’s Waiting, and Four More Shots Please! Season 1-, and co-directorNayanika Mahtani. Shakuntala Devi is a production of Sony Pictures NetworksIndia and Abundantia Entertainment.
