Cutting off sugar completely from your diet is not a good idea because the human body needs some least amount of sugar in the diet to increase energy for the day, but you cut off sugar completely to stay healthy and fit. A healthy way to keep a check on your sugar cravings is to choose naturally rich sugar foods that are not only good in taste but also good for your health.

1.            Dark chocolate

Chocolate is the most common food that people eat when they crave for sweets. Instead of choosing regular chocolate chose dark chocolate that contains more than 70% cocoa and has a healthy plant compound known as polyphenols. Polyphenols have antioxidants and anti-inflammatory effects that improve heart health. Always keep dark chocolate in your bag so that whenever you crave sweets you can have it. Remember to limit yourself to two squares a day because it also contains less amount of fat and sugar as compared to regular chocolates.

Yogurt could be a healthy snack to help regulate your appetite and control your sugar cravings and it is high in protein and rich in calcium, phosphorous and helps in muscle and bone growth.
