On the auspicious occasion of Gurpurab, Veda Hospital, in collaboration with Gobind Nursing Home and Jai Lal Memorial Trust, proudly organised a free eye care medical camp at Main Dharmshala, Milakpur, Hisar, spreading the message of service and compassion through healthcare.
The camp, held on November 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., witnessed an overwhelming response from the local community. More than 250 individuals received free medical eye check-ups, medicines, and consultations from Gold Medallist Dr Ripan Kaur Kamra and her team.
During the camp, 40 patients were identified for free cataract and other eye surgeries, which are scheduled to be conducted at Veda Hospital on the upcoming Sunday.

Dr Ripan Kaur Kamra, who spearheaded the initiative, emphasised the importance of early eye screening and regular care. She stated,
“Clear vision is priceless. With regular check-ups and timely intervention, many cases of blindness can be avoided. Veda Hospital remains dedicated to providing accessible and high-quality eye care for all.”
The event was organised to commemorate Gurpurab — a time for service, compassion, and giving back to society. Through this initiative, Veda Hospital continues to bring healthcare closer to rural and underprivileged communities, ensuring that no one is deprived of the gift of sight.
Residents and volunteers expressed heartfelt gratitude to Veda Hospital and Dr Ripan Kaur Kamra for their noble efforts and for delivering quality medical services free of cost.
