Vidya Balan has come back on the Big screen after Mission Mangal reuniting with her Shakuntala Devi movie Director Anu Menon.

Neeyat’s Trailer released on Thursday has left the fans in excitement as Vidya Balan is playing a detective named Mira Rao stuns with her acting skills. She investigates a murder at a billionaire’s party in the Scottish countryside. A billionaire Ashish Kapoor (Ram Kapoor) celebrating his birthday with his friends and family members, is murdered, and the suspicion falls on each one of the members present at the party. Detective Mira Rao (Vidya Balan) uncovers the hidden motives and mysteries in this classic whodunnit.

Neeyat will be out in theatres on July 7 followed by a Prime Video release later this year.

In the Sherni Poster, Vidya Balan dressed as a forest officer with an intense look on the face. The film, ‘Sherni’ was announced last year in March 2020 has now shared a new look of it.

Actress Vidya Balan took to her official social media handle and posted a poster of the film. She wrote, “Fearless as she steps out into the world!… Happy to announce my latest film ‘Sherni’ @primevideoin… Meet #SherniOnPrime in June.”

This film Sherni is going to be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video in June. Vidya’s Shakuntala Devi was also premiered on Amazon last year. Sherni is directed by Amit Masurkar, and along with Vidya Balan stars Sharad Saxena, Vijay Raaz, Mukul Chaddha, Ila Arun, Brijendra Kala, and Neeraj Kabi. The movie has been jointly produced by T-Series and Abundantia Entertainment.

The film Sherni is inspired by real-life incidents in which Vidya is playing the role of a forest officer who is works for maintaining balance in the world of man-animal conflict.

The Amazon Prime Video also made the announcement with the caption, “She is ready to leave a mark! Meet the #SherniOnPrime in June.”

To announce the trailer, makers have released a short teaser. In the teaser, Vidya Balan introduces herself as Shakuntla Devi and says that in maths “there are no rules, just magic”.

Earlier this month Amazon Prime Video also announced the Global premiere of Shakuntla Devi on 31 July. Shakuntala Devi film is based on the life of a mathematician who calculates faster than a computer. Vidya Balan is playing the role of Shakuntla Devi. The star cast of the film includes- Vidya Balan, Jishu Sengupta, Amit Sadh, Spandan Chaturvedi, and Sanya Malhotra.

Shakuntala Devi is written and directed by Anu Menon, also directed Four More Shots Please! Season 1-, and co-directorNayanika Mahtani. Shakuntala Devi is a production of Sony Pictures NetworksIndia and Abundantia Entertainment.
