The last date to apply for the SSC CGL 2023 exam is May 3, 2023.

Age limit for SSC CGL 2023 exam–

The age limit differs from post to post and can be 18-27, 18-30, 18-32, and 20-30 years, while for notified reserved categories, the upper age limit is relaxed.

SSC CGL 2023 exam Fee–

The SSC CGL 2023 application fee is Rs 100, but women candidates, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) category candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee.

SSC CGL 2023 exam schedule-

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted in July 2023. The questions in the Tier 1 exam will be about general intelligence and reasoning, general awareness, quantitative aptitude, and English comprehension.  Each incorrect answer will be penalized with 0.50.    

Tier-I will consist of multiple-choice questions. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi except for English Comprehension. Candidates qualifying for the Tier 1 exam will be eligible for the Tier 2 examination.

How to apply for SSC CGL 2023 exam-

• Candidates need to visit the official website of SSC- ssc.nic.in
• Click on the application link.
• They need to enter the required credentials
• Pay the application fee
• Click on submit.
• Candidates should download and take a printout of the application form for future reference.

The Commission has scheduled to conduct various examinations/ Skill Tests in the months of September and October 2021. The exam schedule includes exams Combined Graduate Level Examination-2019 Skill Test, Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Examination, 2020 Paper-II, Multi-Tasking (Non-Technical) Staff Examination, 2020 Paper-I, Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Examination, 2019 Skill Test.

The above schedule is subject to the prevailing conditions and Government guidelines issued from time to time regarding the handling of the Covid-19 pandemic. The candidates are advised to visit the website of the Commission at regular intervals for further updates.

Now before the SSC CGL 2018 skill test, the commission has released an important official notice. It stated that the SSC CGL 2018 skill test will comprise of three modules, namely, Data Entry Speed Test (DEST), PowerPoint Presentation/Generation of Slides (MS PowerPoint), and Spread Sheet (MS Excel).

For Data Entry Speed Test (DEST), a master text passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions will be given. The duration of this test will be 15 minutes. PowerPoint Presentation/Generation of Slides (MS PowerPoint) and Spread Sheet (MS Excel)will be administered on MS Office platform (Microsoft Office-2007 and higher versions) and the duration of each module will be 15 minutes.

Now according to new dates released by SSC, Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (Tier-I), 2019 – For left-over candidates examination will be conducted from October 12, 2020, and Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Quantity Surveying and Contracts) Examination (Paper-I), 2019 from  October 27 to 30.

The other exams for which schedule has been revised are Combined Graduate Level Examination (Tier-II), 2019, Examination for Selection Posts (Phase-VIII) 2020, Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2019, Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination (Paper-I), 2020, Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination (Paper-I),2020, Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police Examination, 2020.
