Khufiya is based on the novel Escape to Nowhere by Amar Bhushan, the former chief of the Research and Analysis Wing (R&AW), India’s external intelligence agency.

The book is about the case of Rabinder Singh, a former R&AW spy suspected of being a CIA mole. In 2004, Singh escaped from Delhi despite being closely surveilled by his superiors.

The Khufiya trailer opened at the R&AW headquarters in New Delhi in 2004. A voiceover says, “We have a mole in the agency,”.  Ravi Mohan (Ali Fazal) is suspected as a mole who is betraying his nation by purloining top-secret documents for a foreign power. He is being closely watched by the Research & Analyst Wing team, led by Krishna Mehra (Tabu).

Khufiya also has a character played by Bangladeshi actor Azmeri Haque Badhon and Ashish Vidyarthi representing the R&AW top brass.

Khufiya will premiere on Netflix on October 5.

Netflix Password Sharing in India

In accordance with the Netflix sharing update, Netflix will begin emailing users who are using the same Netflix account outside of a single household to remind them that a single account is intended to be used only by one family.

According to the official statement, A Netflix account is for use by one household. Everyone living in that household can use Netflix wherever they are — at home, on the go, on holiday — and take advantage of new features like Transfer Profile and Manage Access and Devices.

One Netflix account is used by several houses and users in India, which may assist spread the cost of the subscription among a group that may not all live in the same home, such as a group of friends or family.

Early in 2023, the streaming service took similar action in its home market of the United States before extending the prohibitions to more than 100 nations in May.

Vijay Varma will be seen playing the role of Alia’s husband in the film. The story of the film will be seen revolving around Alia, Vijay, and Shefali. Shefali Shah and Alia Bhatt are portraying a mother-daughter duo in the movie. Alia has not been seen in such a style before this film.

The dark comedy has been co-produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Alia Bhatt. Alia Bhatt’s Darlings is directed by Jasmeet K. Reen (debutante filmmaker), and features Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah and Vijay Varma, Roshan Mathew and Vijay Maurya in key roles. Darlings will release on Netflix on August 5.

The teaser begins with Alia Bhatt’s voiceover in the background where Alia narrates a story about a scorpion and a frog. It serves as a synopsis of the film’s central theme. The moral of Alia’s story is that people eventually revert to their true nature, even if it is not in their best interests.

When the teaser begins, Alia Bhatt’s character is seen alone in a theatre watching a movie. After it, she meets a boy outside the movie theatre who is her boyfriend, Vijay Varma. He apologizes to her, but Alia’s character is not in the mood to forgive him. In the trailer ahead, Vijay becomes suspicious of another man, a role played by Roshan Mathew, who is frequently seen around Alia Bhatt’s character.

His suspicion grows when he found a strand of hair on Roshan’s shoulder. Alongside, Shefali and Alia are seen in the police station saying we killed someone in imagination only.

After the release of Darlings teaser, fans are continuously praising Alia Bhatt’s expressions in the movie. Darlings will release on Netflix on August 5.

Thar is produced by Harshvardhan Kapoor and directed by Raj Singh Chaudhary. Netflix unveiled the Thar Trailer with the caption, “Mysteries and mirages, twists and turns. In the heart of an unforgiving desert, unfolds a gritty thriller, unlike any other. #TharOnNetflix

The trailer shows that a crime has occurred in a remote village in Rajasthan and Anil Kapoor aka Surekha Singh playing as cop, investigates, and comes across Siddharth (Harshvardhan Kapoor) and finds him suspicious. After last year’s AK vs AK, this is the second time Anil and Harsh are working together.

Who can apply to Take Ten

There are only two criteria to join: Applicants must be a citizen or resident of India and over the age of 18. Registrations open on 7th February 2022 at www.taketen.in. To enter, applicants have to submit a film of up to two minutes based on the topic ‘My India,’ which should be shot with their phone and represent who they are as a filmmaker. The applications will be reviewed on a first-come-first-served basis. 

The shortlisted participants will not only get to bring their short film idea to life but they will also get a chance to learn about writing, direction, production and more from award-winning talent including Abhishek Chaubey, Hansal Mehta, Juhi Chaturvedi, Neeraj Ghaywan and Guneet Monga.

According to the new announcement, the previous plan of Rs 199 drop to Rs 149, the ‘Basic’ plan of Netflix India of Rs 499 dropped to Rs 199 in India.  So according to new subscription plans, users are going to save 60.2%.

The second ‘Standard’ plan of Rs 649 get reduced to Rs 499 and the ‘premium’ plan of Rs 799 per month drops to Rs 649. Majorly these four Netflix India plans drop to one below them.
