Visibility of Trial Reels

Trial reel will only be visible to non-followers, giving users the opportunity to test new content and refine the strategy. After 24 hours users will receive valuable feedback in the form of views, likes, comments, and shares, helping you decide whether to share your trial reel with their followers .While trial reels aren’t visible on creators profiles, followers might still see them if: Shared directly with them and Appear on pages with the same audio, filter, or location .

Auto-Sharing Trial Reels

If a trial reel performs well within 72 hours, Instagram will automatically share it with followers. However, creators have full control and can change this setting anytime.

Instagram’s Trial Reels feature is now rolling out and will be available globally to all eligible creators in the coming weeks. To be eligible, you’ll need a professional account.

This feature allows creators to test new content with non-followers before sharing it with their actual audience. Trial Reels provide key engagement metrics, such as views , shares , likes , and comments  which become visible after 24 hours.

Creators can choose to share their trial reel with followers manually or set it to automatically share based on its performance within the first 72 hours .

Instagram allows you to choose from a variety of fonts and change the color of your captions.  It’s likely that the transcript will not be accurate, so there’s also the opportunity to edit words in captions.
