Superb enthusiasm among Young India for Vaccination Syringe

Over 1 crore youngsters between 15-18 age group have received 1st dose of #COVID19 vaccine that too on the 3rd day of vaccination drive for children.

I appeal to all eligible young friends to get vaccinated at the earliest.

The vaccination drive for young India, children between the age of 15-18 was started on January 3 in response to the rapid spread of the highly contagious Omicron variant of coronavirus. In addition to this, Healthcare, frontline workers and senior citizens will also get a booster shot from January 10.

On Wednesday, India’s cumulative Covid-19 vaccination coverage exceeded 147.72 crores which have been achieved through 1,58,21,510 sessions. 15,389 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) is now at 3,43,21,803. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.01%.

NGO Ek Kadam Zindagi ki Aur going to organize the blood donation camp at Bandhan Bank on June 25 from 9 AM to 3 PM.

The aim behind organizing the camps is to motivate people who are not willing to come forward to donate blood owing to misconceptions. It is a noble cause where a little effort by us saves someone’s life, said NGO representative. We will follow all the norms guided by the government for organizing blood donation camps in regards to COVID 19.

NGO ‘EK Kadam Zindagi Ki Aur’ is organizing social activities programmes for the last 11 years and from its blood donation camps, have collected thousands of units of blood.

WHY SHIVRATRI IS CELEBRATED?

 There are several stories behind the celebration of the Shivratri, the most famous is that Lord Shiva was impressed by the devotion of Goddess Parvati. As a result, Shiva fulfills her wish and marries her. Goddess Parvati, who is also known as AadhyaShakti, has done hard penance and taken 108 births to get lord Shiva as her husband. HOW SHIVRATRI IS CELEBRATED?

Every year in the month of Sawan, people brought Ganga water from Haridwar and Neelkanth to worship Lord Shiva. These people are called kavadis and the holy water they carry in pots called Kavad. This year, however, kawad yatras are canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On World Malaria Day 2020, WHO joins the RBM Partnership to End Malaria in promoting “Zero malaria starts with me”. The “Zero malaria” campaign engages all members of society: political leaders, private sector companies and communities affected by malaria, to come and fight against this deadly disease.

Malaria is a life-threatening disease caused by parasites that are transmitted to people through the bites of infected female Anopheles mosquitoes. It is preventable and curable. Malaria is caused by Plasmodium parasites.

Children aged under 5 years are the most vulnerable group affected by malaria; in 2018, they accounted for 67% (272 000) of all malaria deaths worldwide.

Symptoms of Malaria

Malarial symptoms usually appear 10–15 days after the infective mosquito bite. Symptoms like fever, headache, and chills are difficult to recognize at first and if not treated under 24 hrs can lead to even death.

The prevention of malaria can be done by using Insecticide-treated mosquito nets that reduce human and mosquitoes’ contact, spraying the inside of the house with an insecticide, Early diagnosis and treatment, and Vaccination.
