<p class="has-medium-font-size">The 3D image of a crater is captured by the <strong>Terrain Mapping Camera-2</strong> which is on the <strong>Chandrayaan 2.</strong></p>

The <strong>ISRO official tweeted</strong> &#8220;Have a look of 3D view of a crater imaged by TMC-2 of #Chandrayaan2. TMC-2 provides images at 5m spatial resolution &amp; stereo triplets (fore, nadir and aft views) for preparing DEM of the complete lunar surface,&#8221; </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">The triplet images from TMC-2 when processed into Digital Elevation Models, enable mapping of surface landform morphologies. These Includes:</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="has-medium-font-size">When ISRO lost contact with Vikram Lander, it was started getting that ISRO lost this mission. The unplanned landing of Vikram Lander put everyone in despair. Today, ISRO tweeted and informed about this information. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">According to ISRO, Vikram Lander has been located by the orbiter of Chandrayaan 2, but there is no communication with it yet. ISRO also told that the Vikram Lander is in one piece but it is tilted. ISRO is continuously trying to re-establish the communication with Lander Vikram. So, there is still hope</p>

L<strong>ander Vikram</strong> was just a <strong>2.1 km</strong> away from the moon surface when ISRO declared that they have lost contact from Lander Vikram. PM Modi talked about this incident with ISRO scientists on Saturday dawn and encourage them to not be disappointed and also hugged <strong>ISRO chief (K.Sivan)</strong>. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>PM Modi</strong> kept hugging<strong>(K. Sivan)</strong> for a long time and encouraged him. In view of this development, PM Modi also addressed the nation at eight o&#8217;clock this morning. He said, &#8216;You are the people who live for Maa Bharti for her glory. You are the people who fight for the glory of Mother Bharati. You are the people who have a passion for Mother Bharati. Mother Bharti spends her whole life for getting head high. They encapsulate their dreams.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">From the <strong>Lander Vikram</strong>, the <strong>Rover Pragyan</strong> will roll out between <strong>5:30 AM – 6:30 AM</strong> as said by ISRO. <p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Reason for change</strong></p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Actually, Lander Vikram has one central engine and three auxiliary engines. On Tuesday, when Vikram made a move for four seconds, a fire broke out in the engine behind Vikram. Likewise, the engine fire will burn on Wednesday. This will reduce the altitude of one side of Vikram from 100/100 to 100/35. That is, the altitude on one side of Vikram is more while the altitude on the other side will decrease. This low altitude will make it easier to land on the lunar surface. ISRO Chief K.K. Sivan explained this whole process in detail. However, Vikram Lander&#8217;s orbit is 104 km x 128 km. Chandrayaan-2&#8217;s orbiter is circling the moon&#8217;s orbit continuously. The good thing is that both the orbiter and the lander are perfect.</p>

had successfully launched its Chandrayaan 2 mission on 22<sup>nd</sup> July to
the moon. The GSLVMKIII Rocket carrying Pragyan Rover, Vikram Lander and the
Orbiter with it. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">The mission is to soft-land on the moon surface. According to the latest news from the ISRO, that the “Chandrayaan 2” has now successfully entered into the lunar orbit. The destination is now not so far. The Lander Vikram will soft-land on the moon surface on 7 Sept 2019.</p>

The launch was scheduled for 15<sup>th</sup> July but due to some technical glitches. The countdown was halted just before 56 minutes and 24 seconds to the launch.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">The main cause of the issue is not identified yet. According to ISRO, there was some technical fault which was observed in the launch vehicle system at 1 hour before the launch.
