Indian women win the 3rd T20i against Sri Lanka

Indian women won their third match against Sri Lanka in the five-match T20I series. The match was played at Greenfield Stadium, Thiruvanthapuram. India won the toss and elected to bowl first.
While bowling, first Renuka Singh Thakur took a 4-wicket haul, which made India’s victory very easy, and Deepti Sharma took a 3-wicket haul, which stopped Sri Lanka at 112 for 7 wickets. Hasini Perera and Imesha Dulani played a tough inning to make sure that Sri Lanka reached 112 runs.
In the 2nd inning, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma opened for India. Samriti lost her wicket at 1 run, but Shefali stood and scored 79 runs in 42 balls with a strike rate of 188.10 and also smashed 11 fours and 3 sixes.
After Jemimah’s early wicket, Captain Harmanpreet Kaur made some important runs by supporting Shefali Verma and scored 21 runs in 18 balls with a strike rate of 116.67, and with this India won by 8 wickets with 40 balls left.
Officially, Indian women have stolen this 5-match series against the Sri Lankan women.
