Hisar, 6 June 2025— In a step toward enhancing practical knowledge and industry exposure, students of Hisar Institute of Digital Marketing (HIDM) visited TR Motors, the authorized spare parts distributor of Tata Motors, located in Hisar. This industrial visit was part of HIDM’s hands-on learning approach under the expert mentorship of ER. Manmohan Singla, Director & Trainer at HiDM.
The visit was made possible through the valuable guidance of Mr. Sunil Goyal, Director of TR Motors, whose decades of experience in the automobile spare parts industry brought depth to the session. The entire coordination and planning of the visit were managed by Mr. Pranav Goyal, whose initiative ensured that the students had access to detailed insights and live demonstrations of business operations.
During the visit, students were introduced to the full-scale operations of a spare parts distribution business. They explored how inventory is managed, how stock is digitally recorded and tracked, and how logistics are handled efficiently for timely delivery. The TR Motors team also shared the challenges they face in the automobile aftermarket and how they address them using a combination of manual expertise and digital tools.
One of the key highlights of the visit was a session on customer relationship management (CRM) and how it plays a vital role in building long-term associations with dealers and clients. Students also learned about billing systems, spare parts identification codes, warehouse organization, and how data analytics is increasingly being used for forecasting demand and optimizing inventory levels.
Mr. Sunil Goyal interacted with the students personally and encouraged them to understand the importance of consistency, discipline, and adaptation in business. He emphasized how businesses must now integrate digital marketing and online communication to stay relevant and competitive. Mr. Pranav Goyal elaborated on how TR Motors is adapting to digital transformation by upgrading systems, using customer data for service improvement, and leveraging platforms for dealer engagement.
This visit proved to be an eye-opener for students, especially in understanding the real application of digital marketing in a traditional sector like automobile distribution. Students appreciated seeing how SEO, WhatsApp Business, Google My Business, and CRM tools are used practically in B2B communication and customer service.
The visit concluded with a thank-you note from HIDM to the TR Motors team for their time, knowledge sharing, and hospitality. The industrial visit left the students inspired, informed, and motivated to align their digital skills with real-world business requirements.
Such initiatives are part of HIDM’s commitment to providing holistic, practical learning experiences that prepare students for dynamic roles in the evolving digital economy.
