Tata Motors has officially confirmed that the all-new Tata Sierra SUV will be launched in India on November 25, 2025. This marks the grand comeback of one of India’s most iconic SUVs, which was discontinued years ago.
The upcoming Sierra will arrive in a brand-new design, modern technology, and multiple engine options: petrol, diesel, and electric.
Before the official launch, Tata Motors will unveil the Sierra on November 15, 2025.
Design and Features of 2025 Tata Sierra
The new Tata Sierra is expected to feature a full LED lighting setup, including sleek headlights and lightbars at the front and rear. It will also get black ORVMs, flush door handles, a shark fin antenna, and stylish C-pillars, giving it a bold and premium look.
Inside, the Sierra will have a modern three-screen layout — a digital driver display, a large touchscreen for infotainment, and another screen for the front passenger. Each screen is expected to measure around 12.3 inches. The cabin will offer soft-touch materials, dual-tone interiors, and ambient lighting, creating a comfortable and high-tech environment.
Engine Options
The 2025 Tata Sierra is likely to offer:
- A 2.0-liter diesel engine (from the Tata Harrier)
- A 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine
- A 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine
Additionally, Tata Motors has also confirmed that an electric version of the Sierra will be launched later, offering customers a sustainable driving choice.
The upcoming Tata Sierra will compete with popular SUVs like the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta, and others in the mid-size SUV segment.
With its strong design, powerful engine options, and advanced technology, the new Tata Sierra aims to combine nostalgia with modern innovation — bringing back a legend in a completely new form.
