UPSC NDA, CDS 2024 Exam – Steps to Apply

Eligibility criteria for UPSC CDS 1 Notification 2024

• For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai — Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii)    For Indian Naval Academy— Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution

• For Air Force Academy—Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering. Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of Graduation/provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) either by remitting the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment or by using internet banking facility of any Bank.

UPSC Preliminary exam 2023 was conducted on May 28th 2023, and approximately 13 lakh students appeared for the exam. Exam was held at 79 different exam centers. Out of this, 14,624 candidates in total have passed the preliminary examination. Now the selected candidates will give civil services (mains) examination on 15 September 2023.

STEPS TO CHECK THE UPSC PRELIMS EXAM RESULT 2023

1. Open upsc.gov.in to access the UPSC website.
2. Select the UPSC Prelims Result 2023 on the home page. 
3. Candidates can search their roll no in the pdf.
4. Save the page as a hard copy. 
5. Download it.

General Candidates have six attempts to appear for the exam and Candidates who belong to SC & ST category have unlimited attempt. OBC candidates have 9 attempts for appearing in the UPSC exam. 

UPSC IES/ISS 2023 Exam Date –

 The UPSC IES/ISS 2023 exam will be held on June 23, 24, and 25, 2023 as stated in the official notice.

UPSC IES/ISS 2023 Exam Shift-

There will be two shifts each day of the exam:

The first shift will take place from 9 am to 12 noon, and the second shift will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm.

It is important for candidates to carry a printout of the admit card to the exam center along with a valid photo ID proof.  Candidates are advised to check all the details mentioned on the admit card carefully and contact the UPSC in case of any discrepancies.

UPSC CSE 2022 exam will be held on June 5 this year and the candidates who want to apply for the Civil services examination can submit an online application at the website https://upsconline.nic.in.  The Candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for admission to the examination. The online Applications can be filled up to Feb 22, 2022, till 6:00 PM.

How to apply for UPSC CSE Prelims 2022

The filling of the online application contains two parts. In Part I registration, the candidate will have to fill in the basic information. Part-II Registration consists of the following Stages. The filling up Payment details (except for fee exempted candidates), uploading of Photograph, Signature, Photo Identity Card Document, selection of examination centre and agreeing to Declaration.

Candidates can pay the application fee online, through the Credit/Debit Card/Net banking facility of any Banks or by cash challan in SBI bank.

Interested candidates can apply online at http://upsconline.nic.in up to 11th January 2022 till 6:00 PM. The eligible candidates shall be issued an e-Admit Card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. UPSC NDA & NA (I) 2022 examination will be conducted on 10th April 2021 for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 149th Course, and for the 111th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from 2nd January 2023.  Candidates who do not wish to appear for the exam can also withdraw their registration form. The facility of withdrawing the UPSC CDS- (I) application form will be available from January 18 to 24.

Union Public Service Commission has released UPSC Civil Services Prelims Admit Card 2021 on September 16. The UPSC Civil Services examination 2021 was earlier scheduled to be conducted on June 27 but was postponed due to a rise in COVID19 cases across the country. The UPSC Prelims examination has now been scheduled for October 10, 2021. The admit card will be available on the official site till October 10, 2021.

Candidates who are interested to apply for the UPSC CMS 2021 examination can apply online on the official website https://upsconline.nic.in. The Commission has also introduced the facility of withdrawal of applications for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination. The online applications for UPSC CMS 2021 examination can be filled up to 27th July 2021 till 6.00 P.M, and online applications can be withdrawn from 03.08.2021 to 09.08.2021 till 6.00 PM.

According to the official notice, “All candidates (male/ (Ministry of Health & Family Welfare) and this Notice of Examination derived from these Rules female/transgender) are requested to carefully read the Rules of Combined Medical Services Examination notified by the Government. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination. Their admission at all the stages of the examination will be purely provisional subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.

UPSC CMS Vacancy Details

The UPSC CMS 2021 exam will be held on November 21 to fill 838 vacancies in Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Service, Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways, General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council, General duty Medical Officer Gr-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation, and South Delhi Municipal Corporation.

Age Limit and Eligibility criteria for UPSC CMS 2021

A candidate for this examination must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2021, i.e. the candidate must have been born not earlier than 2nd August 1989. According to the official notice, “Due to the prevailing conditions caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Union Public Service Commission has deferred the civil services (preliminary) examination, 2021, which was scheduled to be held on 27th June 2021. Now, this examination will be held on 10th October 2021,”

Civil services examination is conducted by UPSC annually in three stages — preliminary, main, and interview — to select officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others.

The commission has taken the decision in view of rapidly changing circumstances, health considerations, and lockdown restrictions. In the official notification released, it is mentioned that the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EO/AO), Recruitment Test, 2020 scheduled to be held on May 09, 2021 therefore stands deferred. The Personality Tests (Interviews) of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, 2020 (scheduled from 20th-23rd April 2021); the Civil Services Examination, 2020 (scheduled from 26th April-18th June 2021), and the Recruitment Tests are also deferred till further notice.

The new dates for all the UPSC recruitment tests and interviews will be notified later.
