										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p class="has-medium-font-size">The last T20i Series of India before the T20 World Cup 2026 started last night against New Zealand. The first match of the series was played at the VCA Stadium, Jantha. New Zealand won the toss and invited India to bat first.<br><br>In the first innings, Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma opened the innings for India, but Sanju failed to give a great start and was caught very early. Ishan Kishan didn’t contribute for India, but Captain Surya Kumar Yadav and Abhishek Sharma made a comfortable score. </p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">Abhishek Sharma played a fiery inning of 84 runs in 35 balls, smashing 5 fours and 8 sixes, and Surya Kumar Yadav scored 32 runs in 22 balls. After them, Hardik Pandya smashed some classy shots and scored 25 runs in 16 balls. Rinku Singh justified his comeback by scoring 44 runs in 20 balls for India, smashing 4 fours and 3 sixes. India made a tough total of 238 runs for 7 wickets.<br>For New Zealand, Jacob Duffy, Kyle Jaminson, Kris Clarke, Ish Sodhi, and Mitchell Santner took wickets against India.<br><br>In the second innings, Devon Conway and Tim Robinson opened for New Zealand, but Devon Conway lost at 0, and Tim Robinson contributed 21 runs in 15 balls, while Rachin Ravindra also lost his wicket at 1.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">After this, Glenn Phillips played an important inning for New Zealand and scored 78 runs in 40 balls, smashing 4 fours and 6 sixes. Mark Chapman and Daryll Mitchell scored 39 runs in 24 balls and 28 runs in 18 balls, respectively. Mitchel Santner scored 20 runs in 13 balls, but because of the collapse in the top order, Indian bowlers stopped New Zealand at 190 runs.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"><br>For India, Shivam Dube, Varun Chakaravarthy, Axar Patel, Hardik Pandya, and Arshdeep Singh took wickets against New Zealand and helped India to win by 48 runs.<br><br>Abhishek Sharma won the player of the match award for his amazing performance, scoring 84 runs in 35 balls.</p>

India won the 3rd match against Sri Lanka by 30 runs.<br><br>After 3 matches, Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first. Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma opened for India, and both openers gave a massive and fiery result for India. Smriti scored 80 runs in 48 balls with a strike rate of 166.67 and smashed 11 fours and 3 sixes.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">&nbsp;Shefali Verma scored 79 runs in 46 balls with a strike rate of 171.43 and smashed 12 fours and 1 six.&nbsp;</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">After this amazing partnership, Richa Ghosh came and struck 40 runs in 16 balls with an amazing strike rate of 250; she smashed 4 fours and 3 sixes. Harmanpreet Kaur made some inning-ending runs, 16 in 10 balls. With this, India ended the inning with the score of 221/2.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">In the 2nd inning, Hasini Perera and captain Chamari Athapaththu opened the inning; both tried to give Sri Lanka a massive start. Hasini Perera scored 33 in 20 balls, and the captain only scored a half-century in the inning to make sure that Sri Lanka moved towards victory and scored 52 runs in 37 balls with a strike rate of 140. </p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">While bowling, first Renuka Singh Thakur took a 4-wicket haul, which made India’s victory very easy, and Deepti Sharma took a 3-wicket haul, which stopped Sri Lanka at 112 for 7 wickets. Hasini Perera and Imesha Dulani played a tough inning to make sure that Sri Lanka reached 112 runs.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size">In the 2nd inning, Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma opened for India. Samriti lost her wicket at 1 run, but Shefali stood and scored 79 runs in 42 balls with a strike rate of 188.10 and also smashed 11 fours and 3 sixes.</p>



<p class="has-medium-font-size"> After Jemimah’s early wicket, Captain Harmanpreet Kaur made some important runs by supporting Shefali Verma and scored 21 runs in 18 balls with a strike rate of 116.67, and with this India won by 8 wickets with 40 balls left.<br><br>Officially, Indian women have stolen this 5-match series against the Sri Lankan women.</p>
