Moto G72 cost and availability

The cost of the single 6GB + 128GB storage edition of the Moto G72 in India is priced at Rs. 18,999. Meteorite Grey and Polar Blue will be the colour options available on the smartphone. Moto G72 will go on sale on October 12 at 12 p.m.

Moto G72 Specifications

Moto G72 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone that runs on Android 12 with the company’s My UX skin on top. A 6.6-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) pOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 576Hz touch sampling rate. It has 6GB of RAM and a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC as its power source.

The Moto G72 has three back cameras for photographs and videos, including a 108-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture lens. The smartphone also includes a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens and an 8-megapixel hybrid ultra-wide angle and depth camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens. A 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture is included in the Moto G72.

The 128GB of built-in storage on the Moto G72 can be increased further using a hybrid microSD card slot. The device has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, and AGPS connectivity options. The instant messaging app WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger is in a cyber attack. The messaging app WhatsApp and the Facebook Messenger app have been targeted through WolfRAT Android malware. With the help of this malware, photos, messages and audio recordings in the phones of WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger users are being accessed.

Researchers at Cisco Talos, have reported the information about WolfRAT malware. Researchers claim that this malware is reaching the phone via a flash update on Google Play-Store. Through this malware, users’ phones can also be taken on a remote control, although it has not yet been revealed how many users have been targeted through this malware.

Researchers say that WolfRAT is a remote access trojan (RAT) that is an upgraded version of DenDroid. According to Wikipedia, Dendroid is an old malware, It was first discovered in early of 2014 by Symantec and appeared in the underground for sale for $300. When the dendroid first discovered in 2014 it was one of the most sophisticated Android remote administration tools known at that time.

The report states that the new malware appears to be linked to the infamous Wolf Research organization and targets Android devices located in Thailand. WolfRAT malware has been seen recording screen records during WhatsApp messaging. The report also claimed that this malware was created by a company called Wolf Research, which is known to make espionage malware. This malware is also capable of stealing data from the phone’s network.

According to recent leaks by IceUniverse, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S21 could be the first smartphone of the company to have an under-display selfie camera, they shared this information on their official Twitter handle.

However, it could be not easy for the company to use the under-display selfie camera in Galaxy S21. Because for this, setting up the right light and sensor resolution up to the under-display camera sensor is very important and in this, the company may face a lot of problems. As per the reports, there is no design working version for the under-display selfie camera with Samsung whereas earlier this type of feature has been seen in Oppo’s prototype. At the same time, Xiaomi has also clarified that it is coming soon with an under-display smartphone.

Berlin-based Simon Weckert posted a video of this experiment to his YouTube account. The video shows him placing 99 smartphones in a small cart and circling in front of Google’s office and some streets in Berlin. With 99 smartphones in his hand cart running in slow motion simultaneously, Google Maps showed traffic jams along the way, while the route was completely empty at that time.

In the video description, Simon wrote” 99 smartphones are transported in a handcart to generate virtual traffic jam in Google Maps. Through this activity, it is possible to turn a green street red which has an impact in the physical world by navigating cars on another route to avoid being stuck in traffic”.

A spokesperson from Google also responded to this situation with 9to5google.com “Whether, via car or cart or camel, we love seeing creative uses of Google Maps as it helps us make maps work better over time. Traffic data in Google Maps has refreshed continuously thanks to information from a variety of sources, including aggregated anonymized data from people who have location services turned on and contributions from the Google Maps community. We’ve launched the ability to distinguish between cars and motorcycles in several countries including India, Indonesia and Egypt, though we haven’t quite cracked travelling by wagon. We appreciate seeing creative uses of Google Maps like this as it helps us make maps work better over time”

This experiment shows that Google Maps can easily be tricked with some manipulations.
