DSP Ashok Kumar said” Raahgiri is an event to create an amicable relationship between administration and civilians. It’s an open stage where anyone can come and perform. The cultural performances at Raahgiri were given by Haryanvi singer Raju Punjabi, Pardeep Boora, and Amit Dhull. Haryanvi songs sang by them forced Hisarians to dance on their toes where various school and residential children gave the fantabulous performances. Children from Nirmal Samaj Samiti gave the self-defense tips to all. During the event, Matka race, Lemon race, Judo Karate, and weight lifting competitions were also held.

RaahgiriDay will also showcase Haryanvi folk dance, games, yoga, athletics, judo, aerobics, indoor games, etc. Raahgiri was started for entertainment purposes and to get stress free life. Cultural performances

Guru and Archana Sangwan were the performers of the day who encouraged the crowd to stop taking drugs as the Raahgiri theme was Drug-Free India. People also enjoyed their mesmerizing performances. The Haryanvi dance was presented by Real Dance school. Beti Bachao Beti Padhao’s message was given by Nirmal Samaj Samiti.

Many school children performed and entertain the audience. Gaur Public, Bal Bharti, PGSD, Captain RC, and DPS students participated in the Raahgiri. Many sports like Hockey, wrestling, Badminton, Judo, Karate, Taekwondo, and weight lifting were there for the crowd.

SDM and DSP of the city were the chief guests and they motivated the Raahgiri team and Hisar people for active participation. They also said Raahgiri is an event that strengthens the bond between common people and police administration. It’s an event that enhances awareness and a healthy lifestyle among all.

Inaugurating the Raahgiri program, Superintendent of Police Shiv Charan called upon the common man to take maximum active participation in it. He said that Raahgiri is such an open platform where any person can display his talent without any prior permission.

SDM Paramjit Singh said that Raahgiri, which started in general, is now being celebrated as a festival in which there is increasing participation of people in cultural programs as well as sports and yoga activities. He appealed to the general public that every eligible person above the age of 18 years should cast their vote.

While giving detailed information about the new Motor Vehicle Amendment Act-2019, Traffic Sub Inspector Daulat Ram said that the task of the police is to provide a safe environment to the public and to comply with traffic rules. People who disregard traffic rules prove to be a threat to their lives as well as to others.

Virendra Badala, district in-charge of Patanjali Yoga Committee, explain the crowd various types of yoga asanas and yoga activities. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India campaign is the best way to stay healthy.

DSP and Raahgiri Nodal Officer Ashok Kumar said that there is a provision in the law for those who commit murder and crime. These convictions need only be feared by those who commit such a crime. Similarly, the new Motor Vehicles Act, recently enacted, also needs to be scared to those who consider the road to be a circus ground.

Haryanvi artists Prince Rose, Aakash Pohal and Monika performed in the Raahgiri, presenting performances from the Haryanvi culture. Tohesh of DAV Police Public School gave a live performance of the patriotic song. Young children of Rose Valley School made people aware of the importance of traffic rules and helmets through the play. Many children, women, and youth including Rajiv Havildar, Sejal, Mohawk, Ayush, Mansi and Mukesh also presented their talents.

Traffic Police team aware public about the traffic rules that they must follow in order to prevent any accident. Fatehabad’s first daughter who climbed the Mount Everest, Manisha Payal also shares her experience at Raahgiri. Mr. Harish Bhardhwaj (Police spokesperson) presented the memento to every performer. DSP Ashok Kumar, DSP Akhil (Boxer), Harish Chautani, Dr. Raj chautani, Pardeep saraf, Sunita redu, Ashok Dhingra, Navdeep, Ramesh, and Ankush attended the Raahgiri. The anchoring was done by Sameer.

Mr. Sushil Kharinta (team member) told about various programs that Humara Pyar Hisar team is running towards the cleanliness of the city. They inspired all to take part in their cleanliness drive so that our city can become beautiful.

In the midst of HAU greenery, everyone was enjoying to the core. School, college students were seen doing yoga and playing games. The theme for the RAAHGIRI was “JANSHAKTI JAL SHAKTI” which gives the beautiful message of saving water. Many schools and college students gave a performance and amused the crowd. The chief guest was welcomed by song presentation from Presidium school students, an energetic and heart throbbing bhangra by Bhangra planet, Kathak performance by OPJMS students. The event was hosted by anchor Vishal Jindal.

HISAR won third place for the most number of people to participate in the initiative after Gurugram(1,72,000) and Karnal (1,53,000).  Across Hisar, about 81,000 people have participated in Raahgiri Day.  Raahgiri day provides a platform for people where they can enjoy different games and activities like yoga, skating, ludo, chess, carom, music, dance. The Raahgiri day initiated not just for fun and enjoyment, else it brings people together and makes them aware of past culture and values that are extinct nowadays.

MD, KD, Ram Mehar mehla, Sonali Phogat and Anu Kadyan joined participants in HAU Raahgiri and entertained residents on their live performances.

The Haryanvi dance and Rajasthani dance kalbaleiya performances prepared by Surender Kumar and Joginder sulkhani respectively let everyone to dance on the beats. The students also gave an educational and inspirational message on Save water through a mime presentation. In the program, the school’s 50 children were participated while 150 children were involved in sports activities.
