The 6-semester course is mainly focused on Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, and Economics. Those candidates who have passed the higher secondary examination with more than 50% marks from a recognized board and have an academic background in commerce stream are eligible to apply for this course.

There are two advanced career options in B.com i.e.  CA/CS. These courses are the most chosen course of action by students of commerce.

After completion of Bachelor’s of commerce, those who want to do masters can apply for Master of Commerce (M.Com) or Master of Business Administration (MBA). The Master of Commerce and Master Of Business Administration are of 2 years of full-time study. After specialization, job opportunities also increase. Candidates having M.com degree can find employment in financial services, marketing, project management.

LLB is also one of the courses that a commerce student can take after B.Com and work as Legal advisors, legal managers, etc in private companies.

The various job Areas for B.Com graduates can be Business Consultancies, Educational Institutes, Industrial Houses, Public Accounting Firms, Policy Planning, Foreign Trade Banks, Budget Planning, Inventory Control, Merchant Banking, Marketing, Working Capital Management.

1. Must visit the campus

Every person you will meet could be a helping hand for you on your college journey. Be friendly and personable with all the people you encounter in your college life. 3. Participate in Extracurricular activity of your choice:

Colleges have a wide exhibit of clubs and activities. You should exploit these chances. Bachelor degree, students earn after completing at least 3 years of study at a university or college.

B.Sc.: This course tends to be focused on subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.

B.Com. This course tends to be focused on subjects related to commerce and finance, financial accounting, corporate tax, economics, company law, auditing, business management, etc.

Eligibility for Bachelor degree: One must complete 12^th with relevant stream or equivalent.

B.Sc (Non Medical)

This is a highly studied degree course comprising of subjects like physics, chemistry, and Mathematics. The admission is based on the 12th class percentage and a student can go further for a master’s degree in the respective domain. There are immense opportunities after graduation in B.Sc. students who are interested in computer and information technology can opt for B.Sc (Non-Medical). Positions in computer and information sciences are very much in demand. Other options available can be MCA, M.Sc, etc.

B.Com

Commerce is a field to provide the students with managerial skills. They get to learn about core subjects like accounting, law, statistics, finance, marketing. A student studying commerce is ready for both corporate employment and entrepreneurship. Anyone who wants to start his/her business can do it successfully without paying an extra amount to accountants and marketers. Career prospect in commerce is Banking, Company Secretary, Chartered Accountancy, Economics, Cost Work and Accountancy.

Choosing for Right college is a tedious task mainly for girls. In a country like India, they are considered a burden on the family are not supposed to go for Higher education. Parents resist sending their girls in co-education colleges, where girls and boys study together; hence they prefer to drop out. But women colleges are a game-changer for the students who choose it over other co-educational institutions — changing their lives and giving them a voice.

After issuing a letter of recognition from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, the Higher Education Department, Haryana has also included the ODM Women’s College in the ongoing Central Online Admission Process of all the colleges of the state.

Giving this information, Dr. Ajit Singh, Director of the College said in a press release that there are 60-60 seats of Arts and Commerce faculty in college while B.Sc. Non-medical and B.Sc. medical have 40-40 seats. He claimed that the ODM Women’s College will set up a new dimension in the women’s higher education sector. Dr. Ajit Singh said that the ODM Institute has been providing high-quality education for the last 17 years and so far about 30 thousand students have already completed courses and diploma courses from the institute.

College Director Dr. Ajit Singh said that because the number of seats in the college is limited, girl students should ensure their seats in time. He informed that on the behalf of the college administration, special facility of the bus for girl students of Hissar and surrounding villages will also be provided. Special focus will be given to discipline in college as well as quality education.
