This rumor was clarified on Tuesday night by home ministry spokesperson on twitter “No such decision taken by MHA. All Educational institutions are still prohibited to open, throughout the country.”

It is quite evident that all the educational institutes whether school, college, or other coaching institutes all have been shut since the lockdown 1.0 and there have no guidelines issued by the government till now on opening the schools and colleges.

In today’s statement, the Ministry of Home Affairs also said that vehicles used by e-commerce operators should be allowed to ply with necessary permissions.

The government has made ensured that during the lockdown period daily necessities like milk, vegetables and pulses and wheat continue to reach people who are keeping themselves confined to their homes. Special efforts have been made on doorstep delivery in many parts of the country.

But today the ministry said that the supply of non-essential goods which does not come in the daily needs category will be prohibited.
