The third edition of JEE main exams will now be held from July 20-25, while the fourth edition of the JEE main exam will be held from July 27-August 2. The new dates are announced in response to JEE Main pending exams that could not be held in April and May due to the second wave of the Covid-19 Pandemic.

For the candidates who have not applied for JEE Mains April and May exams, another chance is given to candidates to apply to the third phase from July 6-8, while for the fourth phase of JEE main candidates can register from July 9-12.

Also, the number of cities has been increased from 232 to 334 and the number of examination centers will also be increased from 660 to 828.

In the notice, It is mentioned that candidates who want ot take admission to B. Tech courses and has not yet registered for the JEE MAIN 2021, can apply online on the website www.nta.ac.in and https://jeemain.nta.ac.in .  The process of registration has already been started w.e.f December 16, 2020. It is now being extended up to 23^rd January, 2021 for the benefit of the candidates. The last date to pay the fee is January 24.

“National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the Joint Entrance Examination JEE (Main) – 2021 for admission to Undergraduate Programs in NITs, IIITs, and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions funded by participating State Governments, and other Institutions and its first session is w.e.f. 23, 24, 25 & 26 February 2021. The other dates in the month of March, April & May 2021 may be seen at the website https://jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can exercise thereinafter to apply in one, two, or all sessions,”  mentioned in the notice.
