The final match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 begins at 1.30 PM IST. After 1992, now in 2022, Pakistan and England were again found playing together in the final of the T20 World Cup. England won the last World Cup in 2010 and Pakistan won the World Cup in 2009. Both teams faced each other in the final match after showing excellent performances in their respective semi-final matches.

England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and chose to field in the final of the T20 World Cup 2022 against Pakistan, at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Pakistan set a target of 137 runs in their quota of 20 overs against England.

They managed to make it to the semi-finals with their effort, and then beat New Zealand by 7 wickets in Group 1 in the semi-finals. Pakistan’s bowling played a vital role in helping them reach the finals of the T20 World Cup 2022. On the other hand, England defeated India by 10 wickets in the 2nd semi-final. England’s continuous successful effort took them to the finals of the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

England and Pakistan have played against each other 28 times in T20 matches so far. Out of these total 28 matches, England won 18 matches while Pakistan won on 9 occasions.

England worked hard from the beginning, but due to their tight fielding, Pakistan could not set the target of more scores. Ben Stokes completed his half-century and played a big hand in England’s victory. Adil Rashid performed brilliantly, conceding only 22 runs in four overs and taking 2 wickets of which one wicket was a maiden. England bowled brilliantly in the last over, it was their AIM that Pakistan could not cross 150 runs. Pakistan made only 137 runs for 8 wickets in 20 overs.

 England took 6 wickets while bowling brilliantly. India got the first blow when KL Rahul got out at 5 runs. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma shared a partnership of 47 runs. Chris Jordan took the wicket of Rohit Sharma while giving 27 runs individually. Rohit Sharma got out after scoring a half-century for 56 runs. Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya shared a half-century partnership. Hardik Pandya scored 63 runs in 33 balls hitting 4 fours and 5 sixes.

England batted brilliantly accepting the target given by India. England played an innings of 170 runs in 16 overs without losing a wicket. Alex Hales and Jos Buttler started brilliantly. Alex scored 86 runs in 47 balls and Butler scored 80 runs in 49 balls to register a spectacular victory for England. Buttler hit 9 fours and 3 sixes and Hales hit 4 fours and 7 sixes to make England win. With this victory of England, India lost the tournament.

ICC T20 World Cup 2022 finals will be played between Pakistan and England on Nov. 13.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bat against Pakistan. After losing the toss, Pakistan continued its efforts to capture the semi-finals from the very first over. New Zealand was able to score 152 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Daryl Mitchell scored 53 runs in 35 balls. Kane Williamson and Daryl Mitchell contributed to the score by doing a partnership of 68 runs in 50 balls. New Zealand set a total target of 152 runs.

Mohammad Rizwan completed his half-century in 43 balls and Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam helped Pakistan crosses the target by making a century in 42 balls. With this, Babar and Mohammad Rizwan made a partnership of 105 runs in 76 balls.

Pakistan and New Zealand both performed well in the semi-finals.
