With this thought Ek Kadam Zindagi ki Aur, an NGO in Hisar is organizing a blood donation camp ‘ Raktdaan Utsav’ on 25th July in Maharaja Agrasain Bhawan in association with Hamara Pyar Hisar, Udit Kunj Foundation and Green Hisar-Fit Hisar and sponsored by Vishesh Academy of Commerce, Canoe, Ravi Mehta, HiDM, Croxaint Digital Pvt Ltd, Mukesh Steel, Life Line Hospital, and Sajjan Kumar Vinod Kumar.

It will begin at around 9 am and will continue up to 5 pm. Also, there will be a stem cell collection unit for thalassemia patients. Donors who want to give their stem cells for helping thalassemic patients can also do so.

Hamara Pyar Hisar is a team selflessly working for making the city clean and green. Every sunday, the team members clean the different areas of the city and also spread awareness on how to keep the environment clean and green. In their clean city drive, Hamara Pyar Hisar has cleaned many areas of Hisar city till now.

Hisar Blood Donation Camp was organized by Ek Kadam Zindagi Ki Aur in association with Udit Kunj Foundation, Hisar Seva Samiti, Hamara Pyar Hisar, and Superwomen Hisar. Many private blood banks were there for collecting the blood. NGO achieved the aim of collecting 500 units of blood.

Although the temperature is quite high in Haryana, but it was not more than the enthusiasm that people had for blood donation camp. About 40 units of blood were collected during the camp. Manoj Khandelwal, the guest for the occasion said that a unit of blood is enough to save three lives. That’s why once in a three month, every healthy individual should donate blood.  The Blood donation camp was presided by Vikram khowal.

The spokesperson of the organization said that the organization has been organizing blood donation camps and other social activities for the last 9 years while carrying out its responsibility towards society.

For the past nine years, the organization Ek Kadam Zindagi ki aur, is working for the needy people, has made blood available to thousands of patients. At every blood donation site, cloth bags were distributed to the donors by Mission Green Foundation in order to make the country plastic-free.
