CBSE Board 12th Exam 2021: In the high-level meeting held on 23 May, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, after discussing with all the States and Union Territories and considering the suggestions received from them, was about to announce the 12th board examinations on Tuesday at 11 am but due to post-covid symptoms, he has been admitted to AIIMS today. However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a high-level meeting at 5.30 pm today to make a decision regarding class 12th Board exams and it was decided to cancel the examinations in the meeting.

The Prime Minister chaired a review meeting regarding the Class XII Board exams of CBSE. In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of class XII students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.

The decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams, according to the Prime Minister, was made in the best interests of students. COVID-19 has impacted the academic calendar, and the problem of Board Exams has caused significant worry among students, parents, and instructors, which he believes must be addressed.

The Prime Minister stressed that the health and safety of our students are of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect. He said that in today’s time, such exams cannot be the reason to put our youth at risk.
The post CBSE 12th board exam canceled; decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams has been taken in the interest of students: PM first appeared on Jugaadin News .

Union Defence Minister, Shri Rajnath Singh will be taking a high-level virtual meeting with all the States/UT Education Ministers, Education Secretaries and Chairpersons of State Examination Boards and stakeholders to discuss the proposals for the conduct of exams for Class XII and entrance examinations for professional courses. The virtual meeting will be held tomorrow on May 23. Along with Union Defence Minister, Union Minister for Education Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, Union Minister for Women and Child, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani and Union Minister Information and Broadcasting, Shri Prakash Javadekar will also be there at the meeting.

Union Education Minister in a tweet invited all the State Government Education Ministers and Secretaries to attend the meeting and to give their valuable suggestion for upcoming examinations.

All the State Government Education Ministers and Secretaries have been requested to attend this meeting and to share their valuable views with regards to upcoming examinations.
In the official letter written, Education Minister has asked the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, and CBSE to explore options regarding the conduct of examinations, keeping in mind the safety and security of the students and the teachers.

In view of the prevailing COVID19 situation, almost all the State Education Boards, CBSE, and ICSE have postponed their Class XII examinations, 2021. Similarly, the National Testing Agency (NTA) and other National exam conducting institutions have also postponed the entrance exams for admissions to professional courses, thus to reduce uncertainty among students it is desirable that a considered decision based on inputs of different State Governments and UT Administrations is taken about Class XII CBSE examinations in the interest of all the students across the country.
The post A high-level meeting with States / UTs to discuss conduct of Class XIIth exams and professional courses to held tomorrow: Education Minister first appeared on Jugaadin News .

Kejriwal said at a digital press conference that daily Covid-19 cases have dropped below 10,000 for the first time in a long time, with nearly 8,500 cases reported in the last 24 hours and the positivity rate dropping to 12%. Around 1,200 ICU beds are nearly ready to provide timely care to severe Covid-19 patients.

Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to save many Delhi people in recent days. For the children who have lost both parents in COVID 19, the Delhi government will cover all of their educational and living expenses. There are also a number of senior citizens who have lost their earning children. All families who have lost their sole earning member to Covid-19 will receive financial assistance from the Delhi government,” Kejriwal said.

The lockdown, according to the chief minister, is likely to be extended for another week. On Monday, the present lockdown is set to end at 5 a.m. “Even today, there are 8,500 new COVID cases. We have to reduce this to zero at all costs, so we must maintain precautions at all times.
The post Delhi Govt. to provide free education to children lost their parents due to COVID 19: Kejriwal first appeared on Jugaadin News .
