NGO Ek Kadam Zindagi ki Aur going to organize the blood donation camp at Bandhan Bank on June 25 from 9 AM to 3 PM.

The aim behind organizing the camps is to motivate people who are not willing to come forward to donate blood owing to misconceptions. It is a noble cause where a little effort by us saves someone’s life, said NGO representative. We will follow all the norms guided by the government for organizing blood donation camps in regards to COVID 19.

NGO ‘EK Kadam Zindagi Ki Aur’ is organizing social activities programmes for the last 11 years and from its blood donation camps, have collected thousands of units of blood.

As notified earlier, the CLAT 2021 will be a Pen and Paper exam conducted at Centres with all COVID 19 safety protocols being observed. Candidates for the LL.M. programme in CLAT 2021 are hereby informed that the examination will include only 120 MCQs to be answered in 120 minutes. There will be no Descriptive Section in CLAT 2021.

In the official notice, it is also mentioned that to avoid long travel to the Test Centres, applicants will be given a chance to revisit their preference of Test Centre after the last date of submission of filled-in application. The Consortium as far as possible will try to adjust the first or second preference of the Test Centre.

And, last Candidates are advised to get themselves vaccinated. 

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) stated in a tweet that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation at 5 p.m. on Monday.

While it is unclear what Prime Minister Modi will address the nation on, his speech will take place on the same day that numerous states lifted the Covid-19 lockdown established to break the virus’s chain of transmission. While Delhi began the second phase of unlocking on  Monday from the lockdown that had been in place since April 19, Maharashtra — which has the highest Covid-19 — began a third phase of unlocking.

PM Modi last addressed the nation on April 19 when in a single day, COVID cases were nearly 300,000, and while more than 2,000 deaths were being recorded.

CM Kejriwal announced that private offices can be opened with 50% capacity. Shops of essential goods will open daily. Delhi Metro is being started with 50% capacity. According to the new guidelines, 100% of Group A officers and 50% of the officers below will work in government offices. Ecommerce services will resume their full work.

He further stated that it is necessary to bring the economy back on track. The factory and construction activity was opened last week. We are giving concession in many activities from 5 am on Monday. All the markets, malls will open on the basis of odd-even from 10 am to 8 pm. Shops will open number-wise. In the number of government offices, Group A officers will do 100 percent work, those below that will do with 50 percent capacity. Government employees related to essential services will do 100 percent of the work.

CM Kejriwal said that if the third wave comes, the government is now ready for it. If the peak of 37 thousand comes, then how many ICUs, how much oxygen, beds, and medicines will be needed, the task force of that period is being formed.

The Prime Minister chaired a review meeting regarding the Class XII Board exams of CBSE. In view of the uncertain conditions due to COVID and the feedback obtained from various stakeholders, it was decided that Class XII Board Exams would not be held this year. It was also decided that CBSE will take steps to compile the results of class XII students as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner.

The decision on Class 12 CBSE Exams, according to the Prime Minister, was made in the best interests of students. COVID-19 has impacted the academic calendar, and the problem of Board Exams has caused significant worry among students, parents, and instructors, which he believes must be addressed.

The Prime Minister stressed that the health and safety of our students are of utmost importance and there would be no compromise on this aspect. He said that in today’s time, such exams cannot be the reason to put our youth at risk.

There is no change in the schedule of Covishield doses; it will be administered in two doses only. After the first Covishield dose is administered, the second dose will be given after 12 weeks. The same regimen will be followed for the Covaxin schedule, the second dose to be administered in 4-6 weeks,” said  Dr. Vinod K Paul, Niti Ayog member (health) at a press briefing. He also added, “The rumor that Covishield can be taken in one dose has been circulating, but this is untrue. Please don’t spread false information about this.”

The health ministry announced today that research on mixing different vaccines will be done, but that it will remain an unresolved scientific matter for the time being, and that no vaccinations would be mixed until solid research supports it.

“It’s a scientific curiosity, and science will resolve it,” Dr. Paul said at a news conference on Tuesday. “Until then, there will be no mixing of vaccines.”

Union Education Minister in a tweet invited all the State Government Education Ministers and Secretaries to attend the meeting and to give their valuable suggestion for upcoming examinations.

In the official letter written, Education Minister has asked the Department of School Education & Literacy, Ministry of Education, and CBSE to explore options regarding the conduct of examinations, keeping in mind the safety and security of the students and the teachers.

In view of the prevailing COVID19 situation, almost all the State Education Boards, CBSE, and ICSE have postponed their Class XII examinations, 2021. Similarly, the National Testing Agency (NTA) and other National exam conducting institutions have also postponed the entrance exams for admissions to professional courses, thus to reduce uncertainty among students it is desirable that a considered decision based on inputs of different State Governments and UT Administrations is taken about Class XII CBSE examinations in the interest of all the students across the country.

Furthermore, the last date for submission of online application for CLAT 2021 has also been extended to June 15, 2021.

The Consortium of National Law Universities consisting of the representative universities, after reviewing the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the country and keeping in view of health and safety of all students appearing for CLAT, the Committee decided to postpone the CLAT 2021 admission test scheduled on June 13.

CLAT exam is conducted for admission to the five-year Bachelor’s Degree (LLB) course and Masters Degree (LLM) course at various National Law Universities (NLUs) located across the country. Earlier also CLAT 2021 was postponed from May 9 to June 13 due to CBSE Board exams dates getting clash with the proposed date.

Kejriwal said at a digital press conference that daily Covid-19 cases have dropped below 10,000 for the first time in a long time, with nearly 8,500 cases reported in the last 24 hours and the positivity rate dropping to 12%. Around 1,200 ICU beds are nearly ready to provide timely care to severe Covid-19 patients.

Despite our best efforts, we have been unable to save many Delhi people in recent days. For the children who have lost both parents in COVID 19, the Delhi government will cover all of their educational and living expenses. There are also a number of senior citizens who have lost their earning children. All families who have lost their sole earning member to Covid-19 will receive financial assistance from the Delhi government,” Kejriwal said.

The lockdown, according to the chief minister, is likely to be extended for another week. On Monday, the present lockdown is set to end at 5 a.m. “Even today, there are 8,500 new COVID cases. We have to reduce this to zero at all costs, so we must maintain precautions at all times.

According to the official notice, “Due to the prevailing conditions caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the Union Public Service Commission has deferred the civil services (preliminary) examination, 2021, which was scheduled to be held on 27th June 2021. Now, this examination will be held on 10th October 2021,”

Civil services examination is conducted by UPSC annually in three stages — preliminary, main, and interview — to select officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS) among others.
