The luxury SUV is powered by a 3.0-liter BMW M TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder petrol engine which produces an output of 265 kW/360hp and a maximum torque of 500 Nm at 1,900 – 5,000 rpm. The car can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in just 4.9 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/hr.

BMW X4 M40i Design

The new X4 M40i has a coupe-SUV design. The M kidney grille with chrome frame, double kidney bars in high-gloss black, and M emblem at the front highlight the vehicle’s athleticism. The X4 M40i’s rear has free-form black chrome tailpipe trims with two “teeth” that emphasise the modernity of this advanced Sports Activity Coupe.

The cabin features a high level of comfort and functionality in a sporty setting. Carbon Fibre M interior trim finishes create a distinctive motorsport environment in the cockpit of the first-ever BMW X4 M40i.

BMW Live Cockpit Professional is a modern cockpit concept with 3D Navigation, a 12.3-inch digital information display behind the steering wheel, a 12.3-inch Control Display, and BMW Head-up Display. The occupants can control a variety of vehicle features by chatting to their BMW Virtual Assistant. A three-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting, a three-zone climate control system, reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, and other features are included.

The BMW X1 20i Tech Edition has a muscular and crisp appearance. With a massive vertically slated chrome-adorned kidney grille, the SUV has a commanding front profile. LED headlamps and LED fog lamps to flank it on both sides.

BMW M5 Competition features

BMW M5 Competition is equipped with 8 speed M Steptronic transmission that helps to accelerate from 0 to 100 Kmph in 3.3 seconds. The standard M5 takes 3.9 seconds to reach 100 Kmph. Like the M5, this sedan also gets the M xDrive all-wheel drive system. It has DSC and xDrive modes that give the driver to choose between 4WD, 4WD Sport, and 2WD modes.

The BMW M5 Competition is somewhat more expensive than its standard BMW M5 variant, available in India. It is estimated that the BMW M5 Competition is Rs. 10 lakhs costlier than its standard variant.

The BMW M5 Competition’s cockpit features a 12.3-inch completely digital instrument display and a 12.3-inch center display. BMW Live Cockpit Professional comes standard, as does BMW Operating System 7.0, which incorporates 3D navigation.

Radiator grille, wing mirrors, rear apron, rear spoiler have been given in this version. The roof of this car is lightweight and high tensile carbon fiber plastic has been used.

The new 2021 BMW 5 Series price

The new 5 Series has been launched in one petrol (BMW 530i M Sport) and two diesel variants (BMW 530d M Sport and BMW 520d Luxury line). The ex-showroom price of the base variant BMW 530i M Sport (530i M Sport) of this luxury sedan car starts at Rs.62.9 lakhs. At the same time, the price of the mid-spec BMW 520d Luxury Line (520d Luxury Line) is Rs 63.9 lakhs ex-showroom. While the ex-showroom price of the top-spec BMW 530d M Sport (530d M Sport) is Rs 71.9Lakhs.

BMW has announced that customers booking the new 5 Series online till July 24 will get attractive offers on limited units of the M Sport variant. They will be able to avail up to 50% off on a select range of 5 Series M performance accessories.

Engine, Power and Speed of BMW 5 Series sedan

The 2021 BMW 5 Series 530i M Sport is available with a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 252 hp of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6.1 seconds.

At the same time, its 520d luxury line gets a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo-diesel engine. This engine generates 190 hp power and 400 Nm torque. This car accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 7.3 seconds.

Whereas, the BMW 5 Series 530d M Sport is powered by a 3.0-liter 6-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that generates 265 hp of power and 620 Nm of torque. This car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 5.7 seconds.

Driving Modes

The eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission makes it very easy to change gears.
