Nathan McSweeney scored 11 and got out to Ben Dwarshuis. Brisbane suddenly started collapsing and struggling. Ben Dwarshuis took 2 wickets in the 8th over—Brisbane Heat 50 for 5. Joel Davies did the same in the 13th over. He took 2 wickets. Hugh Weibgen somehow scored runs but got run out on a no-ball. Brisbane Heat scored 114 runs.

Sydney Sixers, chasing 115 runs, have struggled. Babar Azam’s flop show continues. Ollie Patterson took Babar Azam’s wicket and Josh Philippe’s on the next ball. Xavier Bartlett took the 3rd wicket. Matthew Kuhnemann took 2-in-2. Jack Wildermuth took Moises Henriques’s wicket in the next over, and suddenly this match turned into low scoring thriller. Sydney Sixers 57 for 7. Jack Davies and Hayden Kerr took the match away from Brisbane. They both batted well and chased the target with 8 balls remaining. Sydney Sixers won by 3 wickets.

Perth Scorchers’ opener gave a good start while batting first. Openers scored 72 runs for the Perth Scorchers, but after they lost quick wickets. Cooper Connolly goes for a duck. Aaron Hardie scored only 9 runs and was bowled by Lloyd Pope. 

Captain Turner went for a turn around in Shamsi’s over, after hitting 3 fours and a six, Turner got out in that over. Joel Pairs finished the last over with 2 sixes, and Perth Scorchers reached 153 as the final score. Lloyd Pope took 4 wickets, and Shamsi got 3 wickets.

Cooper Connolly bowled the first over. Cooper is a promising all-rounder and showed it in the first over. Cooper got Chris Lynn and only gave 3 runs. Matthew Short scored quick runs, so captain Turner took the bowl and gave a breakthrough to his team. Took Jason Sangha’s wicket in the same over. Turner only gave 1 run. 

Quick wickets and tight over puts Strikers under pressure. Liam Scott gave a try and scored 33 runs. Perth Scorchers’ bowler didn’t give them a chance, and won by 33 runs. Joel Paris took 3 wickets. Turner and Aaron each took 2-2 wickets. Cooper, Mahli, and Agar each got 1-1 wickets.

Melbourne Stars won the toss and opted to bowl first. Mitchell Owen and Nikhil Chaudhary opened for Hobart Hurricanes. Maxwell bowled a dramatic over, starting with a wide, then Owen hit a six on the next ball, and Cartwright dropped a catch of Owen. On the 4th ball, Cartwright took the catch of Owen. Rehan Ahmed got out in the next over.

Nikhil Choudhary was struggling a lot, and Stoinis made it easy for Nikhil. Nikhil scored 7 runs in 10 balls. Tim David, who is known for hitting big sixes, only scored 31 runs in 31 balls. Ben McDermott scored 69 runs, which helped Hobart Hurricanes to reach 158 runs. Peter Siddle got 3 wickets. Harish Rauf and Stoinis each got 2-2 wickets. Maxwell and Tom Curran shared 1-1 wickets. 

Melbourne openers also struggled; Joe Clarke scored 20 runs in 20 balls, and Thomas Rogers scored 30 runs in 18 balls. Campbell Kellaway and Stoinis made that run chase easy. Campbell scored 41 runs. Stoinis hit the winning six; he scored 62 runs in just 31 balls. Melbourne won by 8 wickets, and in just 16 overs.
